Downtown Westfield hosts their annual Grand Junction Derby, a one-day track event of bracketed derby car races featuring a gravity powered start. Participate in the race by entering your hand-built derby cars. Racing costumes to coordinate with car themes encouraged. Cars will be displayed on "Gasoline Alley" and have the chance to win the people's choice award for best car.

Beth Wood said:  St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church and School hosts their annual SausageFest where family and friends can gather to enjoy live music, local food and drinks, a wine garden and more. An entire section of the festival is dedicated to a family-friendly kid's zone that will feature games, face painting, bounce houses and more fun. A teen area will also be available for older kids to have fun.

Dawn R said:  Come out to the Earth Day festival for kids activities, local food vendors, over 125 exhibitors, live music, a beer garden, and a 5k run/1 mile walk. You are encouraged to bring your own reusable water bottle to the race and event to promote conservation!

Beth Wood said:  Spend a day with family and friends at IUPUI's Wood Plaza celebrating over 2,000 years of Chinese culture at the annual Indianapolis Chinese Festival. The festival features Chinese musicians, singers and dancers, Chinese games, Mooncakes, dragon and lion dancers, authentic Chinese food, cultural gifts, Tai chi and martial arts demonstrations, Chinese costumes, arts, crafts and hands-on activities for all ages. The festival is brought to you by the numerous local Chinese organizations and the Indianapolis Mayor's Office and promises to be a good time for the whole family.

Beth Wood said:  Celebrate Memorial Day and kick off summer with the whole family at Grand Park's Summer Kickoff Celebration. There will be lots of vendors, a health fair, dodge ball tournament and a family adventure course. This is a great way to get the whole family outside and enjoy the arrival of summer!

Beth Wood said:  The Westfield Youth Assistance Program is hosting their Grand Fall Festival at the Grand Park Events Center in Westfield. The entire family can come support the WYAP and their work supporting at-risk youth throughout the community. There will be fall activities, including wagon rides for purchase, inflatables, games, vendor area and more family fun!

Beth Wood said:  The Latvian Community Center will host their annual Midsommer Festival to celebrate the summer solstice. There will be dancing, live music, games, ethnic food and beverages, a bonfire at dusk and more family fun.

Beth Wood said:  Head over to the Village of West Clay's annual Fall Festival where families and friends can gather to celebrate all things Fall. There will be fall decor, music, food, games, drinks and lots of family fun for all ages.

Beth Wood said:  Celebrate different cultures from around the world at Indy's International Marketplace Coalition's annual Taste the Difference Festival! There will be live music and dancing performances, food samplings from over 25 restaurants representing different countries, exhibitors, free health fair, student art competition and a kid zone.

Beth Wood said:  Celebrate cultural diversity at the St. Gabriel International Festival at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. You'll find an old-fashioned midway, live music, games, family fun, food and more.

Visitors can pick apples in the orchard, take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick their own pumpkins, watch pig races, explore the corn maze, have fun in a kids area filled with games and more, shop in the market store and enjoy concessions of fall favorites like apple cider and freshly made on site pumpkin donuts!

Be sure to wear your favorite Viking themed costumes and join in the fun!
