Beth Wood said: Join the Indiana Fever, Indy's WNBA team, at their annual Tipoff Party at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis where you'll find loads of fun for the whole family. Check out the 6,000 square foot Family Fun Zone, see Indiana Fever players, play interactive games, and more. Face painting, balloon artists, concession stands and more will be available for added fun. Children 14 and under receive a hot dog, chips and Pepsi for free.

Federal Hill Commons Park - Salsa for Salsa
Beth Wood said: Head over to Federal Hill Commons Park in Noblesville and celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the annual Salsa for Salsa Festival. There will be family-friendly activities, food trucks featuring authentic Mexican food, salsa band, margarita garden and a salsa tasting contest! It's guaranteed to be a fun evening for the whole family! Federal Hill Commons Park is a 6.5-acre park on the outskirts of the downtown Noblesville area and features an amphitheater, splash pad, green space, and event space.

Beth Wood said: The Feast of Lanterns is a family-friendly historical festival held in Spades Park on the East side of Indianapolis that dates back to the late 1800's. Colorful lanterns are lit throughout Spades Park where local vendors, neighborhood booths, artisan booths, food trucks, local breweries and more are set up. There will also be live music, kid's activities and family fun throughout the festival!

Beth Wood said: St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church and School hosts their annual SausageFest where family and friends can gather to enjoy live music, local food and drinks, a wine garden and more. An entire section of the festival is dedicated to a family-friendly kid's zone that will feature games, face painting, bounce houses and more fun. A teen area will also be available for older kids to have fun.

Indiana State Fair

The outdoor mall in Noblesville has an afternoon of fun planned including an interactive DJ, character appearances, face painting, kids activities, photo booth and giveaways! Virginia Avenue Music Fest
Beth Wood said: The entire family can enjoy five days of live music at the Virginia Avenue Music Fest held in Fountain Square near downtown Indianapolis. 130 different bands and artists are slated to perform during the festival with over 170 live performances. Many different music genres will be represented including folk, indie, pop, rock, hip hop, instrumental, funk, soul, experimental, psychedelic and more. There will also be art, food, and beverage vendors throughout the festival area.

Hamilton County Sports Complex - Family Fun Fair
Beth Wood said: The Hamilton County Sports Complex's Annual Family Fun Fair is full of fun for all ages. You'll find local vendor booths, giveaways, games, activities, pony rides, acrobat show, face painting, airbrush tattoos, fire trucks, bounce houses, fair food and much more. Guests can visit the Hamilton County Sports Complex tenants for free trial events, introductions, and open gym time!

Beth Wood said: Head over to the Indianapolis Art Center for the One America Broad Ripple Art Fair where you'll find original art and crafts created by more than 220 artists and artisans. The Broad Ripple Art Fair is a highly selective and juried art fair that is nationally ranked. You'll find live music and performances on 3 different stages, interactive art activities for all ages, live demonstrations, food and beverage vendors and more family fun.

Beth Wood said: Calling all Soapbox Derby fans and racers!!! Downtown Westfield hosts their annual Grand Junction Derby, a one-day track event of bracketed derby car races featuring a gravity powered start. Participate in the race by entering your hand-built derby cars. Racing costumes to coordinate with car themes encouraged. Cars will be displayed on "Gasoline Alley" and have the chance to win the people's choice award for best car.
