Discover Downtown Franklin - Strawberries on the Square
Beth Wood said: Head over to the Courthouse Lawn in downtown Franklin for their Strawberries on the Square event. You can enjoy fresh strawberries, ice cream, cake, whipped cream and bottled water. There will also be food vendors, live music, a classic car cruise, appearance by the Indianapolis Tornados Minor League Football team and cheerleaders, family yoga, and more fun throughout the afternoon and evening. Strawberries will be served from 11 am until they sell out.
Cost: free admission, $5 for your strawberry treat

Grand Park Sports Center - Grand Summer Kickoff
Beth Wood said: Celebrate Memorial Day and kick off summer with the whole family at Grand Park's Summer Kickoff Celebration. There will be lots of vendors, a health fair, dodge ball tournament and a family adventure course. This is a great way to get the whole family outside and enjoy the arrival of summer!

Purdue Spring Fest
Beth Wood said: This family-friendly festival hosted by Purdue University on its campus in Lafayette offers guests of all ages two days of hands-on activities celebrating spring and the world around us. You'll learn more about animals, astronomy, agriculture, art and much more during this event. Highlights include the Bug Bowl: insect petting zoo and honey tasting, the horticulture show and veterinary open house.
