Indiana State Fair

You'll find Midway amusement rides and games, farm animals, a family fun park featuring hands-on activities for all ages, pioneer village, contests and competitions, mouthwatering food and beverages, live entertainment, concerts and much more! Indy Donut Festival
Beth Wood said: Do you love donuts? Be sure to check out the annual Indy Donut Festival in Broad Ripple Park where you'll get the chance to eat some of the yummiest and craziest donut flavors in the Indy area. Guests can sample different donuts and coffee drinks from local bakeries, enjoy live music and participate in fun donut-themed activities. Proceeds benefit cancer research and awareness of Indianapolis-based patient programs and services provided by those affected by cancer. This event usually sells out so purchase tickets in advance.

Indianapolis Italian Street Festival - Holy Rosary Catholic Church
Beth Wood said: Holy Rosary Catholic Church is hosting their annual Italian Street Festival. Jam packed with family fun, you'll find wonderful Italian food, live music, amusement rides, wine & beer and more. There will be a traditional Italian procession at 6:45 PM on Saturday before a special 7:00 PM Mass at the church.

Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games & Festival
Beth Wood said: Celebrate all things Scottish at the Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games & Festival at German Park. There will be live music, bagpipe performances, Gaelic dancers, a Kids Quest, Celtic vendors, Scottish Clans, a royal court, athletic competitions, food, drinks and more fun for the whole family. The Opening Ceremony begins at 9am.

Beth Wood said: Celebrate the traditional Chinese celebration at the Chinese Mooncake Festival in downtown Carmel. There will be music, dancing, costumes and more for all ages to enjoy. Each guest can receive a free mooncake to enjoy. Mooncakes are limited so reserve yours before attending the festivities.

Indy Burger Week

Beth Wood said: Head to Broad Ripple Village for the ultimate Rubber Duck Race. 3,000 rubber ducks will race down the Central Canal to the finish line behind the Rainbow Bridge, near the pedestrian bridge at College Avenue. Spectators can view the race on either side of the canal. Purchase your own duck at local BRV events prior to the race - see website for location details. Prizes are given to the first 3 ducks to cross the finish line. Family-friendly activities like face painting, carnival games, arts and crafts, balloons and more are also offered!

OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair
Beth Wood said: Head over to the Indianapolis Art Center for the One America Broad Ripple Art Fair where you'll find original art and crafts created by more than 220 artists and artisans. The Broad Ripple Art Fair is a highly selective and juried art fair that is nationally ranked. You'll find live music and performances on 3 different stages, interactive art activities for all ages, live demonstrations, food and beverage vendors and more family fun.
Cost: $13 - $15 for adults and $3 - $5 for kids (3-12)

Beth Wood said: Join the Indiana Fever, Indy's WNBA team, at their annual Tipoff Party at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis where you'll find loads of fun for the whole family. Check out the 6,000 square foot Family Fun Zone, see Indiana Fever players, play interactive games, and more. Face painting, balloon artists, concession stands and more will be available for added fun. Children 14 and under receive a hot dog, chips and Pepsi for free.

Beth Wood said: The Talbot Street Art Fair is one of my family's favorite events of the summer. We love to go every year and see the 270+ artists that come from all over the country to display their masterpieces. You'll find paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewelry, textiles, photography and more. This juried art fair is consistently ranked as one of the top art fairs in the area and offers something for everyone. Food vendors are located throughout the festival. The festival is located between 16th & 20th/Delaware & Pennsylvania Streets in the Herron-Morton Neighborhood.

Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival
Beth Wood said: Spend a day with family and friends on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis at the Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival. Enter the 4-mile family bike ride along the cultural trail that runs through downtown. After the ride, head over to the festival area for more fun. The festival's Kids Zone will feature kids' bike races, bike obstacle courses, a bounce house, health and fitness games, face painting, a rock wall, animal shows and more for a family fun filled day! Strawberry Festival - Christ Church Cathedral

There will be family-friendly activities for dogs and humans at the Canine Cabana, live entertainment, costume contests, agility course in the Agility Arena, pet-related vendors and more fun. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site to add to the fun! Proceeds from this event help the Humane Society of Hamilton County.
