Broad Ripple Duck Race
Beth Wood said: Head to Broad Ripple Village for the ultimate Rubber Duck Race. 3,000 rubber ducks will race down the Central Canal to the finish line behind the Rainbow Bridge, near the pedestrian bridge at College Avenue. Spectators can view the race on either side of the canal. Purchase your own duck at local BRV events prior to the race - see website for location details. Prizes are given to the first 3 ducks to cross the finish line. Family-friendly activities like face painting, carnival games, arts and crafts, balloons and more are also offered!

Indianapolis Italian Street Festival - Holy Rosary Catholic Church
Beth Wood said: Holy Rosary Catholic Church is hosting their annual Italian Street Festival. Jam packed with family fun, you'll find wonderful Italian food, live music, amusement rides, wine & beer and more. There will be a traditional Italian procession at 6:45 PM on Saturday before a special 7:00 PM Mass at the church.

Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival
Beth Wood said: Spend a day with family and friends on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis at the Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival. Enter the 4-mile family bike ride along the cultural trail that runs through downtown. After the ride, head over to the festival area for more fun. The festival's Kids Zone will feature kids' bike races, bike obstacle courses, a bounce house, health and fitness games, face painting, a rock wall, animal shows and more for a family fun filled day! Hamilton Town Center Mall - Chalk Art Festival
Beth Wood said: An afternoon of fun and art awaits at Hamilton Town Center outdoor mall in Noblesville. Their annual Chalk Art Festival features local artists and their masterpieces made out of chalk along the mall's village streets. Along with taking in the unbelievable artwork, the entire family can have fun listening to live music, shopping local businesses, enjoying wonderful food and drinks and playing in the Kid Zone which includes face paint, games, crafts, balloon art and more.

Indy Midsommer Festival - Latvian Community Center
Beth Wood said: The Latvian Community Center will host their annual Midsommer Festival to celebrate the summer solstice. There will be dancing, live music, games, ethnic food and beverages, a bonfire at dusk and more family fun.

Fishers - Monsoon Madness
Beth Wood said: Head over to Roy G. Holland Memorial Park in Fishers for their annual Monsoon Madness event. You'll find inflatable waterslides, an Itty Bitty Water Play Zone for kiddos ages 4 and younger, slip and slides, bounce houses, games, music and more fun! Food trucks will be on hand selling concessions. Be sure to wear your swimsuits and sunscreen and don't forget to pack a towel! Roy G. Holland Park features large playground areas for both older and younger children, sports fields, picnic areas and more. Parent supervision is required.

Conner Prairie - Curiosity Fair
Beth Wood said: Investigate the mysteries of the world around you at Conner Prairie's Curiosity Fair. The entire family will have fun learning through demonstrations, presentations and activities. Events include BMX stunt shows, meeting animals from Lafayette's Columbian Park Zoo, chemistry shows and experiments, demonstrations with Professor Steve and more. There will be lots of other hands-on activities presented by Indiana Landmarks, Nickel Plate Arts, Aggressively Organic and more. Conner Prairie is an interactive museum that transports visitors back in time to the 1800s.

New Pal Summer Fest
Beth Wood said: Enjoy a weekend of family fun at the New Palestine Summer Festival located in downtown New Palestine. There will be live music both nights, a car show, food trucks and concession booths, a family-friendly 5K or 1-mile walk/run, vendor and craft booths, a kid zone with bounce houses and games, a beer and wine garden a firework show and more fun. Talbot Street Art Fair
Beth Wood said: The Talbot Street Art Fair is one of my family's favorite events of the summer. We love to go every year and see the 270+ artists that come from all over the country to display their masterpieces. You'll find paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewelry, textiles, photography and more. This juried art fair is consistently ranked as one of the top art fairs in the area and offers something for everyone. Food vendors are located throughout the festival. The festival is located between 16th & 20th/Delaware & Pennsylvania Streets in the Herron-Morton Neighborhood.

Fire Dash 5K & Safety Festival - Greenwood Fire Foundation
Beth Wood said: Support the Greenwood Fire Foundation with a competitive 5K race or family walk/jog. Sign children ages 4-12 up after the 5K for the Kids Firefighter Fitness Challenge where they participate in an interactive obstacle course where firefighters help them act like a firefighter. Race and Challenge participants receive t-shirt, giveaways & admission to Freedom Springs Aquatic Park. Live music, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks and more will be on-site.
