How do ya'll decide where to host your Kid's Birthday Party?

I mostly try to rely on recommendations from other families, or other personal experience, and will often just pick places where my kids have previously attended parties or which I've heard have good party options. Otherwise, if my kid has a particular type of party in mind (parkour, bounce house, trampoline park, pool, etc), I'll start searching Google, and go with the ones that seem best reviewed, and fit what we're looking for.
