Do you bring your kids to see Santa every year?

My kids are 7, 4, and 20 months, and I think I've had one year where a kid actually enjoyed seeing Santa, but nevertheless, we continue going every year!

I take my kids to see Santa every year and usually they see him a few times throughout the season at different events. Only my youngest cried when he was 2 and 3 years old. They still believe so I am not sure how it will be as they get older, but it's been a tradition since my oldest was a baby, he is almost 10 now.

Is it terrible that I don't take my kids to see Santa? We have a special holiday tradition with our in-laws where someone dresses up as Santa and brings them presents - that's enough, right?!

It's all good! Think about how much money you're saving on those over priced pictures at the mall?!

Every year we go to a specific location where the Santa is amazing and spends real time with the kids too. We always get great pictures. It's one of my favorite traditions.

We started going to the "mall Santa" when my oldest was 6 months old. We would go every year and it was always the same Santa. I would love comparing the pictures of my kids as they grew seeing the same smiling and friendly Santa. Well, last year that all changed. Much to our surprise, Santa decided to retire from the mall and there was a new Santa (oh no)! After 10 years of pictures with the same guy I was heartbroken. My kids could care less, but it made me sad that I had a new Santa in my pictures now. Not sure what we'll do this year. The kids are always so excited to go, even my 10yo so I'm sure we'll either go back to the same mall or find another place.
