Friends and family love to buy cute gifts for baby from the registry but do you really need all of those things? Some moms say, YES! YES! YES! While others are only interested having in the basics. When creating your baby registry did you plan to use all (or most) of the items on there? Or was the plan to return many things to use the store credit for diapers, wipes, and formula?

We had the opposite experience -- most people didn't buy from our registry at all! Instead, we got lots of cute clothes, diapers and wipes, and essentials that our friends and family had loved using as new parents. It ended up being a good mix of things, and we were able to use gift cards to buy anything we still needed.
