Located in the Main Barn at the Farm-in-the-Zoo, this free nature play activity at the zoo encourages little explorers to sort, dig, and explore a variety of sights, sounds, feels, and smells. Activities vary, but typically include story time, messy art, and a sensory bin.
Kindermusik
Kindermusik classes are offered throughout the Chicagoland area at community center locations and park districts. Music-and-movement classes feature varying styles, genres and movement. These baby and toddler classes all involve great tunes and eventually become more interactive for older kids, as well.

This open playgroup at one of Chicago's best museums for kids is exclusively for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers (and their caregivers). Four 45-minute sessions are offered each day.
Flying High Gym - Little Tykes Time
Little Tykes Time at Flying High Gym is the perfect solution if your child has some extra energy to burn! For 90 minutes, kids kindergarten and under are invited to explore a variety of age appropriate gymnastics equipment, play areas, and toys without interference from older children.
St. Cajetan School - Warrior Workout
This 45-minute interactive toddler class takes place during the school year, and encourages children old to interact with each other and move their bodies any way they can. Classes are offered in a warm, community-oriented environment.
Mr. Dave Music
Mr. Dave's whimsical children's music and classes are a magical experience for both kids and parents. You can find him performing at his own Wicker Park studio and at events all around Chicago. Classes introduce concepts like rhythm and harmony while encouraging kids to move, try out instruments, do yoga, and be creative.
