Shila:   Sweet Pea's offers a relaxing weekly time for new mothers and babies in their yoga studio. Baby and Me Yoga classes feature postures and breathing techniques that focus on restoring balance and health and relaxation. Bring along your newborn! Lisa R:  My daughter and I did a parent-child class here before she was 3. It is right by the North Park Nature center, which is a wonderful place to check out before or after class.

Vanessa M.:  The Language & Music School in Oak Park has many great opportunities for little language learners. Spanish Mom & Tot classes for babies 4 months to 4 years old set the stage for learning Spanish, while Spanish immersion preschool and kindergarten immerses young kids in the language. Elementary students can attend after-school immersion classes in French, Spanish, German, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, sign language and more. Private lessons in music, dance, theater, and others are also available.

Lisa R:  Tiny Animal Adventures at Double J Riding Club offers little farmers and their caregivers the chance to learn about farm animals through a variety of activities. Activities may include listening to a story, creating a craft, playing a game, or making food for animals. Each class ends with a visit to the farm to meet and greet the animals.
