Gable House Bowl
Erynn said: More than just bowling, Gable House also has laser tag, an arcade, plus a Pizza Hut Express and snack bar to refuel hungry kids. Laser tag features glow-in-the-dark runs with lightweight equipment, ideal for the younger set.

Torrance, CAUltrazone Laser Tag
Erynn said: Anyone from around age six on up can play laser tag at Ultrazone, and it's an experience to be sure! There's fog, black lights, and enough space for 45 people to play at one time. Games last 12 minutes, but the pre-game instruction takes 10-15 minutes, and most players go on for a second or third round!
Cost: A single round is $11/person; group rates start at $9/person for 12+ players
Sherman Oaks, CA
Museum of Flying MaxFlight Simulator
Kids can tackle this full-flight simulator and pretend they're flying their very own plane! The technology even allows you to turn upside down, making the experience truly authentic. There are both Combat Simulator Flight and leisure tour options available, with the latter including a "fly-over" of the LA area! You also have a selection of planes to choose from. Note that the Museum of Flying MaxFlight Simulator is only available on select Sundays, so call ahead to confirm it will be operational for your visit.

Six Flags Magic Mountain
A destination for thrill-seekers, Six Flags Magic Mountain claimed the Guinness Book of World Records title for the Most Roller Coasters in One Theme Park in 2022 with 20 roller coasters. Though the park also has milder family and kids rides, the rollercoasters are the big draw, so it's especially fun for teens and older.
Valencia, CACombat Paintball Park
Erynn said: Combat Paintball Park hosts outdoor Paintball, Paintball Soft, Paintball Soft4Kids, and Airsoft games that get kids' adrenaline pumping! Younger siblings can get in on Paintball Soft4Kids (ages 7-10) or regular Paintball Soft, while Airsoft is ideal for ages 10+ and Paintball is more suitable for older tweens and teens.
Cost: Tickets start at $30 for entry and air for self-equipped players; equipment/paintballs are extra; reservations are required on weekdays
Castaic, CAThousand Oaks Teen Center
Erynn said: Teens can take special interest classes including sports programs, music and dance, art, science and tech, and more. There are also girls-only programs and homeschool exclusive recreational programming, as well as a few offerings for younger tweens.
The Teen Center is also open every day for drop-in recreation that's free, so your teen can get together with friends for low-key fun.
