For over 40 seasons, Survivor has traveled far and wide to remote locations around the world filming a group of contestants tasked to "outwit, outplay, and outlast" the others. Participants compete in riveting physical and mental challenges, vote each other out, and ultimately try to be the last person standing.
This is an appealing family show to watch together, though, tweens and teens should learn to adequately separate some plays of the game from real life.

My tween got really into Survivor for a little while in 7th grade, but I had to pull the plug eventually. It's just too focused on backstabbing, bad-mouthing and deception.

My kids love Survivor! And so do we! So we try to watch this as a family.
