Hot Ground Gym’s party programs are customized to suit different age groups. They include military inspired obstacle-course-based tasks and team-building missions, such as rope building, tug of war, and relay races suitable for girls and boys.

All you need to do is bring the kids and the cake! Parties packages can include a kid-friendly meal, as well as a FUNcard, activities (bowling, laser tag, mini golf, ropes, arcades, etc.) and private party space. Their most basic package is a self-guided party, which does not include a dedicated host.
Xtreme Dance Center
Kristy Pepping: Xtreme Dance Center is a 10,000 square-foot dance facility. The Center offers all styles of dance instruction for all levels, from beginner to advanced ages 2 to adult. Children wishing to host their birthday party here get to choose a song of their choice, learn a routine with their guests and then perform the routine at the end of the party. Parties include dancing, of course, and separate time in the party room. You can add-on hair, make-up and dress-up to the party, too.
Normantown Equestrian Center
Kristy Pepping: We just had my daughter's birthday here where she also takes horseback riding lessons. Normantown is part of the Plainfield Park District and boards around 40 horses at this facility. Birthday parties are two hours and for up to 12 guests. Groups of 4 (max) are rotated between riding horses, grooming horses, and an activity. They do have cats onsite and plenty of dust and hay so be prepared if you have allergies. They offer general pony rides for children, ages 3-10 years, too (must be under 4′ 6″ and less than 100 lbs).
West Chicago Park District Treehouse

Aurora Regional Fire Museum

Aurora Regional Fire Museum is a beautifully preserved fire department stocked with antique equipment that can be viewed by the kids. Their birthday party package includes an interactive guided tour of the Museum’s permanent exhibit Getting There, Getting Water, Getting Rescued and opportunity to explore their Children’s Discovery Room or Education Room. Each child receives a fire helmet to color and guests have time for any cake and refreshments as well as opening presents.
