Muncie Mini Marathon 5k-10k-13.1m Run/Walk
Beth Wood: Sign the family up for the Annual Muncie Mini Marathon! You can choose from 5K, 10K, or a half marathon run/walk at Prairie Creek Reservoir.
Holiday Fire & Ice 5K
Beth Wood: Sign up for the annual Fire & Ice Holiday 5K sponsored by the Yorktown Volunteer Firefighter's Association. The 5K starts at the Yorktown Fire Department. There will be live music on-site and throughout the event. Parking is available at Yorktown Middle School. Participants can register to receive a long sleeve race shirt and medal, a hat and medal or a combination of all three. All proceeds will benefit the Yorktown Volunteer Firefighter's Association and RAC Trykes.
DINO Trail Run - Mounds State Park
Beth Wood: Want to challenge yourself even more than you do during a race? Then be sure to sign up for the DINO Trail Run. Runners will enjoy the rugged terrain and beautiful scenery at Mounds State Park in this 5K or 15K trail run.
Cost: 5K is $20 - $30 and 15K is $25 - $35
Madison County YMCA - Charity Gobble Wobble 5K
Kristy Pepping: Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with a 5K run or walk through Historic Falls Park in Pendleton. The race will be professionally timed. Participants will receive a race shirt. First place male and female per age group will receive a pie. Strollers welcome.
Pendleton YMCA - Shamrock Shuffle
Beth Wood: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the entire family at the Pendleton YMCA Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk. Prizes will be awarded for best holiday-themed costumes as well as top male and female finishers in each age group. Participants receive a race shirt if registered prior to March 1st. Strollers are welcome at this family-friendly event. All proceeds go directly to help children attend the YMCA summer camp program.
Cost: $30 - $40 per racer
Greenfield - Turkey Day 5K
Kristy Pepping: Start your Turkey Day off with a 5K or 1 mile run/walk in front of the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Building in Greenfield. The course runs along the Pennsy Trail. Costumes are encouraged for the race for added holiday fun!
Color Me Pink Breast Cancer Run
Beth Wood: Support cancer research and survivors by racing in the Color Me Pink Breast Cancer Run. The mostly flat course is a scenic out and back race with a few small hills. There will be 3 color stations throughout the course resulting in 6 total blasts of color, along with bubbles to add to the fun. Wearing white is recommended for the best color exposure!

Beth Wood: Race for a great cause - provide over 120 meals to local families in need! Choose from a 10K run, 5K run/walk and 1-mile family walk starting at the St. Joseph Center in Elwood. The course is for all ages and fitness levels. Participants receive finisher's medal, race t-shirt and a free bowl of chili after the race at the Red Gold Chili Cook-off! All proceeds from the race will go to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Morrisett Center Food Pantry.
Gobblers Jog 5K

$30/individual, or $60 for the first two family members & $20/additional member
Kristy Pepping: Start your Thanksgiving holiday off by running or walking in the The Gobblers Jog 5K. The USATR certified course takes racers through the Saxony residential and corporate areas. Strollers are permitted.
GOTR Central Indiana & Indy Fuel's 5K - Witten Park
Beth Wood: Girls On The Run of Central Indiana and the Indy Fuel are teaming up together to sponsor this 5K run through Witten Park in Fishers. Girls On The Run is a running organization for school-aged girls that promotes a healthy lifestyle and girl power! My daughter participates in GOTR and loves the spirit and message behind these special racing events. All ages are encouraged to sign up and support this wonderful organization. Participants receive t-shirt and finisher medal.
Cost: $20 - $40 per racer
Indy Fuel 5K Benefiting Girls On The Run of Central Indiana
Beth Wood: Support the wonderful program, Girls On the Run of Central Indiana, by signing up for their annual 5K race. Girls on the Run encourages girls in third to fifth grades to lead a healthy lifestyle, make good decisions and inspire self-respect and girl power! The race is open to the public and is an all-ages, family friendly event. Participants receive a t-shirt.
Child Advocates Superhero Run
Beth Wood: Dress up as your favorite superheroes and head over to Fort Harrison State Park for a 5K Run and 1K Family Walk to support Child Advocates. Participants receive a race t-shirt, finisher's medal and other fun items. The 5K will be a chipped/timed race and awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers. Parking available outside of park with shuttle service provided. Please see website for details on parking and packet pick-up. Proceeds benefit abused children in Marion County through the Child Advocates program.
Indy Half Marathon, 5K & 1 Mile Kids One Mile Run at Fort Ben

The half marathon requires a minimum age of 10 years old.
Kids Run is for ages 4-10 years
Beth Wood: Sign your family up for the Indy Half Marathon, 5K or 1 Mile Kids Run at historic Fort Harrison State Park. Participants will receive a finisher medal, chip-timing gear and apparel based on their race. They'll have a free cookout following the race and medal engraving available for purchase.
Fishers YMCA - Wishbone 5K

Registration starts at $29/individual or $116/Group or Family of Four, Kiddie Fun Run is $5/child
Kristy Pepping: Get out and start your Thanksgiving holiday with a family walk or run in the Fishers YMCA Annual Wishbone 5K. This is a family-friendly event with a kiddie fun run and strollers are permitted. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall, male and female winners and age-group awards in 10-year increments. Participants will receive a wishbone t-shirt with their registration.
Autism Speaks Walk
Walk begins at 10:30am, post celebration party is 11:15am-1pm
