Beth Wood: Sign the family up for the Annual Muncie Mini Marathon! You can choose from 5K, 10K, or a half marathon run/walk at Prairie Creek Reservoir.
Holiday Fire & Ice 5K
Beth Wood: Sign up for the annual Fire & Ice Holiday 5K sponsored by the Yorktown Volunteer Firefighter's Association. The 5K starts at the Yorktown Fire Department. There will be live music on-site and throughout the event. Parking is available at Yorktown Middle School. Participants can register to receive a long sleeve race shirt and medal, a hat and medal or a combination of all three. All proceeds will benefit the Yorktown Volunteer Firefighter's Association and RAC Trykes.
DINO Trail Run - Mounds State Park
Beth Wood: Want to challenge yourself even more than you do during a race? Then be sure to sign up for the DINO Trail Run. Runners will enjoy the rugged terrain and beautiful scenery at Mounds State Park in this 5K or 15K trail run.

Madison County YMCA - Charity Gobble Wobble 5K
Kristy Pepping: Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with a 5K run or walk through Historic Falls Park in Pendleton. The race will be professionally timed. Participants will receive a race shirt. First place male and female per age group will receive a pie. Strollers welcome.
Pendleton YMCA - Shamrock Shuffle
Beth Wood: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the entire family at the Pendleton YMCA Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk. Prizes will be awarded for best holiday-themed costumes as well as top male and female finishers in each age group. Participants receive a race shirt if registered prior to March 1st. Strollers are welcome at this family-friendly event. All proceeds go directly to help children attend the YMCA summer camp program.

Greenfield - Turkey Day 5K
Kristy Pepping: Start your Turkey Day off with a 5K or 1 mile run/walk in front of the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Building in Greenfield. The course runs along the Pennsy Trail. Costumes are encouraged for the race for added holiday fun!
Color Me Pink Breast Cancer Run
Beth Wood: Support cancer research and survivors by racing in the Color Me Pink Breast Cancer Run. The mostly flat course is a scenic out and back race with a few small hills. There will be 3 color stations throughout the course resulting in 6 total blasts of color, along with bubbles to add to the fun. Wearing white is recommended for the best color exposure!

Beth Wood: Race for a great cause - provide over 120 meals to local families in need! Choose from a 10K run, 5K run/walk and 1-mile family walk starting at the St. Joseph Center in Elwood. The course is for all ages and fitness levels. Participants receive finisher's medal, race t-shirt and a free bowl of chili after the race at the Red Gold Chili Cook-off! All proceeds from the race will go to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Morrisett Center Food Pantry.
GOTR Central Indiana & Indy Fuel's 5K - Witten Park
Beth Wood: Girls On The Run of Central Indiana and the Indy Fuel are teaming up together to sponsor this 5K run through Witten Park in Fishers. Girls On The Run is a running organization for school-aged girls that promotes a healthy lifestyle and girl power! My daughter participates in GOTR and loves the spirit and message behind these special racing events. All ages are encouraged to sign up and support this wonderful organization. Beth Wood: Support the wonderful program, Girls On the Run of Central Indiana, by signing up for their annual 5K race. Girls on the Run encourages girls in third to fifth grades to lead a healthy lifestyle, make good decisions and inspire self-respect and girl power! The race is open to the public and is an all-ages, family friendly event. Participants receive a t-shirt.
Child Advocates Superhero Run
Beth Wood: Dress up as your favorite superheroes and head over to Fort Harrison State Park for a 5K Run and 1K Family Walk to support Child Advocates. Beth Wood: The Noblesville Fraternal Order of Police is hosting their annual Run With the Cops 5K at Forest Park in Noblesville. Participants will enjoy a family fun event where you can run or walk the 5K trails course. Children will have fun racing a cop or a K9 in a 100-yard dash. 5K participants will receive a race shirt.
Darlington Bed Races
Kristy Pepping: Okay, this may not be a foot race for all, but it's a race nonetheless! Come to this annual event where participants race beds downtown for charity. Money raised goes toward scholarships for the Boys and Girl's Clubs of Noblesville and the Noblesville Parks & Recreation Programs. Plus, there is a fun party in the street following the event! Form a team of 4 or 5 and get ready to race!

The Michael Treinen Foundation - Turkey Trot
Kristy Pepping: Start your Thanksgiving holiday off with a 5K Turkey Trot run or 3K family walk through downtown Noblesville. A balloon lift to honor those that have battled cancer will start off this race.
Fire Dash 5K & Safety Festival - Greenwood Fire Foundation
Beth Wood: Support the Greenwood Fire Foundation with a competitive 5K race or family walk/jog. Sign children ages 4-12 up after the 5K for the Kids Firefighter Fitness Challenge where they participate in an interactive obstacle course where firefighters help them act like a firefighter. Race and Challenge participants receive t-shirt, giveaways & admission to Freedom Springs Aquatic Park. Live music, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks and more will be on-site.
Circle City Donut Dash 5K
Beth Wood: Eating donuts and supporting a good cause at the same time? Sign us up!!! Support Teacher's Treasures and enter your family and friends in the Circle City Donut Dash where you can run in a 5K while consuming a dozen donuts during the race or walk/run in a non-donut 5K where you can enjoy donuts after the race! Dawn R: Celebrate 4th of July with the whole family by running or walking. Proceeds from this event help out the city with their annual firework celebration. Beth Wood: The Bubble Run is a fun family-friendly event. Clad in white t-shirts, adults, kids and strollers run, walk, dance and play across three miles of absolute fun! This is NOT a race - the only competition is seeing who has the most colors on them at the end!
Waves start every 3-5 minutes. Participants will run through four Foam Bogs where there is enough different colored foam to cover you from head to toe! The foam is 100 percent safe so no worries if someone gets an accidental taste.

Beth Wood: Spend a day with family and friends on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis at the IU Health Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival. The leisurely paced 4 mile family bike ride travels along the cultural trail that runs through downtown. After the ride, head over to the festival area for more fun. The festival's Kids Zone will feature kids bike races, bike obstacle courses, a bounce house, health and fitness games, face painting, a rock wall, animal shows and more for a family fun filled day! Helmets required for all bike ride participants.
The Great Pumpkin Run
Beth Wood: Head out to Military Park for the Great Pumpkin Run. You can walk or run this 5K. Participants receive a lightweight 1/4 zip hoodie, race medal, cup of apple cider at the finish line, a small pumpkin to take home. Racers can also add an extra challenge to their 5K by choosing the Tough Pumpkin option which gives runners a pumpkin to carry through the race.
Trinity Free Clinic - Run for Wellness 5K, 10K & 15K
Beth Wood: Support the Trinity Free Clinic that provides free medical and dental care to those in need in Hamilton County by participating in the Trinity Free Clinic Run for Wellness. This is a family-friendly 5K run or walk on a flat USATF certified road course. Folks also have the option to run a 10 K or 15K too! Participants will receive a finisher's medal, race shirt and post race refreshments. Families can enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, crafts, jugglers and more family fun activities.
Earth Day Indiana 5K and 1-Mile Walk
Kristy Pepping: This race raises awareness and funds to support Earth Day Indiana, an environmental awareness organization committed to recycling. They will have a recycling dumpster for plastic water bottles; bibs are ones left over from previous 5Ks and participants will receive a recycled (unused) commemorative medal from a previous 5K event attached to a lanyard that is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Beth Wood: The Best Buddies Friendship 5K Fitness Run & Walk at Celebration Plaza and White River State Park Canal in downtown Indianapolis is the number one walk in the country raising awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Cost: registration is free and there is no minimum fundraising amount to participate!
Hot Cider Hustle 5K
Beth Wood: Set out on the Hot Cider Hustle 5K timed or un-timed walk or run through White River State Park. Participants will receive a caramel apple, hot cider, finisher's mug and long sleeve quarter-zip pullover at the race.
Holliday Park Trail Run and Ramble
Beth Wood: Come out the Holliday Park and run or hike their beautiful trails this St. Patrick's Day weekend! They have lots of options, either 5, 3 or 1 mile on trails and a Tot Trot for the little ones. Stick around after the race, they'll have a kids zone featuring a climbing wall, crafts, games and more. There's a hospitality tent for race participants and child care is provided with reservation. This is a rain or shine event so come dressed for the weather.

Dawn R: Beyond the Badge 5K Run and Walk honors Deputy Jason Baker who was killed in the line of duty on Sept. 17, 2001 and proceeds go to his foundation. This day gives members of the community and those in public safety the ability to come together to compete in honor of those that have fallen. The events include a 5K run and fitness walk, a 5K team competition, and a 1.5 mile family stroll.
Indianapolis Heart Walk
Beth Wood: Support the American Heart Association fight against Heart Disease by pledging to walk or run in the Indianapolis Heart Walk. There will be a 5K, or 1 mile route available for walkers and runners. This is an all ages, family-friendly event. Join as an individual or team and raise money through pledges for your walk.
Rock the Block Run - Center Grove
Dawn Denning: Center Grove hosts a run that focuses on raising money to make their community a better place! Pick your favorite and choose from a 10K, 5K or free kid's run. There is something for the whole family! There will be tons of vendors and live music too! The race benefits beautification projects, local non- profits, sports and education in Johnson County. Beth Wood: Support the Kokomo Humane Society by participating in the Barktober Fest 5K Dog Walk at Foster Park. Proceeds from this walk will be used to provide medical assistance to shelter animals, promote adoptions and enrich the lives of animals in the shelter. You can bring your own furry friend to walk with or enjoy your walk solo supporting a great cause.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway - Mutt Strut
Dawn Denning: Called "The Greatest Spectacle in Dog Walking" is coming back to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Your dog can take a lap and strut their stuff on the yard of bricks. Fun events, a lot of sniffing and 6,000 dogs will be on hand for the largest fundraising event for the Indianapolis Humane Society. There are plenty of drink centers and vendors for you and your puppy to enjoy. Bring your 6-foot non-retractable leash, canine and walking shoes to support a great cause!

Beth Wood: This youth only run happens at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There will be five different race distances ranging from half a mile to 2.5 miles; each finishing at the famous Yard of Bricks. There will be course entertainment, huge cheering sections and each participant will receive a medal and t-shirt.

Beth Wood: The Flap Jacks 5K is based at Ben Davis High School and features a flat and fast route that is 100% closed to traffic. Flap-Jacks Restaurant will be serving up their delicious pancakes for racers at the finish line. Indy Gateway will raise funds with this race for the continued development of the Far West B&O Trail in Marion County.
St. Vincent Flyaway 5K
Beth Wood: Come out to this truly unique event and celebrate or remember those in your life who have been affected by cancer. The St. Vincent Flyaway 5K takes place alongside the runway. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and 100% of the proceeds benefit St. Vincent Cancer Care.
Boys & Girls Club of Zionsville 5K Family Fun Run
Beth Wood: Join the Boys & Girls Club of Zionsville with family and friends for their annual 5K Family Fun Run and Walk. No Luck St. Patrick's Day Run
Kristy Pepping: Celebrate the St. Paddy's weekend with a family run at the 3rd Annual No Luck Irish Run. Start out at the Shops at Perry Crossing, and run a half marathon, 5K, or kids 1/2 mile dash. Kristy Pepping: Celebrate Thanksgiving by walking or running in the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA 5K Gobble Gallop or Kid’s Fun Quarter Mile Run that morning . The walk/run will begin and end at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA.
Hendricks County Rib Run
Beth Wood: Rib Run is a 5k race and 1/4 mile kids race that is held during the Hendricks County Rib Fest and Balloon Glow. Runners will run a 5k on a fast and flat course throughout Avon. Head over to the Rib Fest after the race for great food, live entertainment, and fun inflatables. Racers receive great swag like a t-shirt, medal, and free festival/food tickets.
Martinsville Fall Foliage 5K Run/Walk
Beth Wood: Come out to celebrate the fall foliage with a 5K run or walk starting at Bell Intermediate Academy in Martinsville. Awards and plaques will be given to top racers in each age group. Pre-registration guarantees you a t-shirt; limited availability on race day.
Anderson Orchard - Orchard Dash 5K & Lil' Apple Dash
5K starts at 9am, Lil' Apple Dash starts at 10am
5k: $39-$45/person
Lil’ Apple Dasher: $20/child
Beth Wood: Run or walk the Orchard Dash 5k through the beautiful orchard course at Anderson Orchard. There is also a Lil' Apple Dash kids race after the 5K. All participants will receive a long sleeve shirt, finisher medal, caramel apples, apple cider and apple cider slushy, free farm fun all day, free photos and free parking.
Resolution XC 5K & Kids 1K
Beth Wood: Challenge yourself not to break your New Year's Resolutions while you run in this the cross country style race on the Avon High School Cross Country Course at Washington Township Park. Mother Nature might make the run a little tricky - but it will be worth the challenge! A 1K for kids will also be held at the park. Each participant will receive post race donuts and hot chocolate, a long sleeve race shirt and finisher medal.
Cass County YMCA - Turkey Trot
Kristy Pepping: Work up an appetite the morning of Thanksgiving by signing up with friends and family for the annual Cass County Family YMCA Turkey Trot. You can choose to run in the 4 mile race or walk in the 1 mile fun walk. The first 500 registrations are guaranteed a t-shirt.
