At only about 30 minutes long, it's short enough to keep even very young kids entertained, though I will note that more sensitive younger viewers might find the ghost of Christmas future a touch scary, so be ready if that's your little one!

    An original backstory about how the legend of Santa came to be, Klaus is the beautifully animated and beautifully told story of an unlikely friendship between a reluctant postman and a reclusive toymaker. It focuses on the spirit of giving rather than magic and elves, and is filled with funny and poignant moments.

    Not only does Arthur Christmas fully embrace the story of Santa in a delightfully modern way, it also explains how he manages to deliver all of those presents in one night! Santa is a title passed down through the family, and the current Santa has two very different sons in line for the job. It's a funny and personality-filled Christmas movie that doesn't spoil Santa and will appeal to the entire family.

It's the perfect Christmas movie for teens and older kids who can handle some iffy content, and we subscribe to Apple TV each November and December mainly just for this.

Since it's Christmas Eve, he has no choice but to take the reins and finish Santa's job. This funny, heartwarming comedy is the perfect Christmas movie for kids, even at the "questioning" age, as it solidifies the power of the belief.
