Chicago Summer Dance
Forget the cover fees! The City of Chicago hosts Chicago Summer Dance for free each summer. Live bands ranging from reggae to rock transform the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park into a happening urban dance space. Pack a picnic or grab some takeout and enjoy a lovely summer evening together. Get there early for free dance lessons!
I was just checking this the other day sounds so fun for the family!!
This is such a fun and spirited activity. Even those that aren't dancers may be compelled to try as loads of people unabashedly lumber through the new dance moves. Try to take the smile off of your face as strangers dance with one another, and every type of person in Chicago (young and old) take a turn dancing. Very few free events are as delightful as this one!
