The Goonies (1985)
Pirates, treasure, adventure and a group of childhood best friends combine to make up one of the best 80s movies for kids.

A fun family friendly movie musical about orphan Annie based on the popular Broadway show. Annie dreams of being adopted and finally gets her chance.

Harry Potter Movies (2001-2011)
Based on the wildly popular children's fantasy books, the Harry Potter films are perhaps best suited as movies for tweens and older kids, as the story grows darker in its later chapters and can be scary for younger viewers. Harry's adventures upon discovering that he is a wizard, and his central role in saving the world from the evil wizard Voldemort, is one beloved by kids and parents alike.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (2017)
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are hilarious in this adaptation of Jumanji, where four teens get sucked into the video game world and need to figure out how to get through its dangerous challenges in order to escape.

Home (2015)
Aliens take over the Earth and relocate the entire human population, except for 12-year-old Tip (voiced by Rihanna), who manages to avoid capture. Clever and relatable Tip tries to reunite with her mother alongside a misfit alien, and the two form an unlikely friendship. It's a sweet and colorful movie, and the first 3D animated film to feature a black lead.
Amy S. said: Jim Parsons is brilliant as the voice of Oh, and my kids get up and dance when Rihanna’s “Dancing in the Dark” comes on. This movie is irresistible.
Jungle Cruise (2021)
Kelly R said: Jungle Cruise is a wildly good time and filled to the brim with cheesy puns, just like its namesake ride at Disney. We're big fans of the ride and the movie totally did it justice! The rating is mainly for action/violence and some creepy imagery, which was ok for my 8 and 11 year olds.

Charlotte's Web (2006)
The 2006 movie version of Charlotte’s Web is a touching adaptation of the classic children’s book by E.B. White, telling the story of a pig named Wilbur and his extraordinary friendship with a spider named Charlotte. It’s a gentle, beautifully made family film that brings one of the most beloved books to life.
Alexandra F. said: My son loved watching this movie after hearing the book read aloud in class when he was in first grade. Both this live action and the older cartoon version are great.
