04/11/2019Annie! A classic for the whole family, always. Kids were 7 and 9 when we saw it, and we were coming out of an obsession with the movies, which made it extra fun!

04/11/2019Yes! I would love to bring my kids to see Annie. They rewatched the movie recently and we are constantly singing the songs now. It's so perfect.

04/12/2019I love the stage version of Beauty and the Beast! It's just similar enough to the familiar Disney movie for kids to understand everything, but just different enough to keep it fresh. The extra songs are some of my favorites.....and there's nothing like the magic of watching the beast turn into a prince right before your eyes!

I love that one of the best musicals of all time is so kid-friendly! No need to watch the Wizard of Oz to follow the story, either, though a general overview of that story lets you appreciate the musical even more.

Aladdin! The whole family loved it, and it was a perfect first theatre experience for my kids at ages 6 and 8. They keep talking about what they want to see next. I think it helped that they knew the story and the music going into it. The genie, the dancing, the magic carpet - it was perfect!

& Juliet. I loved this pop-inspired musical for the dance numbers and nostalgia of hearing some of my favorite pop songs since the 90s/early 2000s, and think many older tweens or teens would love it, too. I saw plenty of younger kids (maybe 8 or 9) at the theater, too, but think the focus on relationships and identify makes it a little better suited for older kids and teens.
