Would you rather host or attend holiday events?

I would prefer to host! However, my inlaws and my parents both insist on still hosting. So until they are willing to give up the holidays, I guess we will be traveling to their houses. We do bring some food for the holidays and stay and help clean up before we leave.

We host Thanksgiving and a annual BBQ, and that's about all I can handle for the year!

I'm not going to lie. I stress out when I have to host events, whether that be holidays, birthday parties or just having friends over for dinner. I'd much prefer to attend somewhere else, but happy to bring a contribution to the party!

Since having a little one, who is now on the move and gets into everything, it's more practical for my family to attend a holiday at a family or friend's house. It's much easier for me to lend a helping hand as opposed to be in charge of the entire festivities.
