Putting out spooky decor is a favorite fall activity every year, but when to decorate for Halloween? You'll have to wait until late October to show off your impressive pumpkin carving designs, but I'm wondering...is September too early to decorate for Halloween with everything else? Vote below!

We wait until October 1 to put up Halloween specific decorations but start putting up fall themed decor in mid September.

I like decorating in the fall because there are so many options - fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I need September for the simple autumn look. I can't get into Halloween until October starts.

I'm a huge fan of Halloween and we go all out with our yard decorations, but I don't start putting them up until the first week of October.

Beginning of October. You still have a whole month to enjoy it!

I start to decorate for Fall once it starts to cool off, Labor Day is over and kids are back in school. It feels like Fall and my kids love Halloween so it just works, even if the technical first day of Fall is still a couple weeks away.
