When do you send out your holiday cards?

My goal is always just after Thanksgiving...reality often makes it very close to Christmas! (Or even New Years, some years!)

I've always wanted to get into the habit of sending out holiday cards, but I always get too busy to follow through.

I try to have them in my hand Thanksgiving weekend and I work on addressing them throughout the week. If mine aren't out during the first week of December they probably won't get out at all.

We are always so late, trying to get the perfect photo, etc! I try to get them there by Christmas Eve.

It varies year to year, but I find doing Happy New Year cards takes a lot of pressure off and I can write something more personal. Also, having a shelf of cards I've received serves as a motivator and makes it easy to find everyone's address.
