How often does your family have professional photos taken?

We've always wanted to but have never gotten around to it!

We love our photographer and try to schedule her about every 2 years. She does so many silly things to get my kids to make a natural smile (marshmallows on her head). She did tell me that as the kids get older (and are not changing as much), you can wait longer between pictures.
