Dallas Touch-A-Truck Events That Fuel the Fun

Come to Independence Park East to meet the Town of Trophy Club's operators of emergency response vehicles and heavy machinery! Kids of all ages can climb in the driver's seat, learn more about the equipment, and even honk the vehicle's horn! For a sensory-friendly experience, where honking will not be allowed, please arrive 30 minutes early.

10am-12pm

Enjoy free food and fun at the annual Public Works Open House! Explore trucks and machinery, tour the facility, and celebrate the Public Works employees who serve the community.

10 am - 1 pm

Come out to Addison Circle Park for their annual Touch a Truck event! There will be cars, trucks, police cars, fire trucks, and so much more! There will also be a children's area with an inflatable slide and lawn games.

10 am-12 pm

Multiple city vehicles & trucks will be brought to the park for kids to climb and explore. At dusk, the fun will continue with a free showing of the movie "Turbo". Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to this free event. 

7 pm

Come explore public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, and delivery vehicles all in one place! Children will be allowed to touch, climb on, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment. Vendors will provide additional children's activities. Food trucks will be onsite. The hour before the event officially begins will be a sensory hour for those who may be sensitive to lights and sounds.

10am-2pm

Head to the lawn at Tupps Brewery to climb, explore, and discover your favorite big trucks and vehicles! All proceeds benefit Holy Family School.

10:30am-1:30pm

Head to Grapevine Mills for Touch-A-Truck. They will have many favorite vehicles that you would normally see around your community (school bus, fire truck, police motorcycle ) etc. They will also have bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters, a trackless train and more.

10am-12pm

This event features an exposition of all Town departments, amenities, and programs, along with a touch-a-truck. Littles and bigs can climb into Town vehicles, honk horns, explore, and more!

10am-1pm

This event is designed for families with children with Autism, sensory sensitivities, and other special needs so they are able to enjoy Touch-A-Truck in a quiet and calm environment. The Sensory Friendly Touch-A-Truck hour will eliminate all loud noises and horns from the vehicles. Participants can explore, climb, and learn more about all their favorite vehicles. Take a look around a police car, check out the fire trucks and ambulances, pretend to dig dirt in the tractors, and meet those who help build, protect, and serve our community!

10:30-11:30 am

Hop on board the excitement train as you discover the fun behind the City's gear and gadgets that keep things rolling. They will have food trucks serving up delicious treats! There will also be family-friendly activities to keep the smiles going all day long.

10am-1pm
