Touch-A-Truck, presented by Blythe Construction, is a community-wide event allowing kids of all ages to explore and learn about various types of vehicles and how they operate! The event will feature vehicles, bounce houses, food trucks, a kid's zone, and more. The first 90 minutes are designated as low-sensory time.

Touch-a-Truck, Mecklenburg County Solid Waste & Recycling
Kids (and the kids at heart) will have the opportunity to touch and explore vehicles from Solid Waste and other local organizations. Attendees can expect to see a tank from the National Guard, a helicopter from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, and more! During this event, tours of the facility will be offered, residents can pick up brush mulch (in bulk) at no cost, as well as purchase colored mulch and compost.
