Located in the heart of Levy Park, the Children’s Park is devoted to kids, families and play. The space includes non-traditional play features, a climbing wall and seven-foot-wide slide, the Cosmo climbing sphere, lighted tunnels, dance chimes, a three-tiered water feature, play berms, and Children’s Pavilion complete with seating.

With the 5 miles of trails, you and the kids will get to explore the pond, forest, and more. The kids can participate in touching things, solving mysteries, working puzzles, playing games, and looking through microscopes. Many of their questions about nature could be answered here!

Houston Area Live Steamers
The Houston Area Live Steamers is devoted to live steam modeling: from locomotives, to stationary engines, to tractors and boats, with a particular emphasis on model trains large enough to ride. On the third Saturday of each month, March through November, and a few select Sundays, the members of Houston Area Live Steamers offer FREE rides to the public on their track.
