Grassy Creek Regional Park
Beth Wood: This athletic-themed spray park is tons of fun! The features include football goals and a soccer sprinkler.
Billericay Park
Dawn Denning: This place is a great time! Enjoy a huge splash pad for your kiddos to get soaked right next to a great playground for them to climb and swing. Multiple shelters near the splash pad allow you to sit in the shade while your littles get soaking wet! A public restroom is available for use and a building space can be rented for a birthday party. The park also has a fun English phone booth to explore and hiking trails to check out. There are also baseball fields on the premises, so bring your ball and glove to play some catch!
Wildwood Park
Tracy Snyder Molina: Wildwood Park is the newest addition to Franklin Township. The highlight of this splash pad is the giant bucket that tips over every few minutes. You will get wet! Restrooms and shelter are available.
Greene Park
Tracy Snyder Molina: This large splash pad offers many colorful water features along with buckets for dumping water and other items that can be used for children to spray each other. The park also offers a playground, swing set, tables, tennis court and a comfort station.
Fishers YMCA Splash Pad
Dawn Denning: A fun splash pad is next to a zero entry pool for kids to use all summer long. If you have bigger kids, there is a large pool for doing laps or splashing around for hours this summer. The pools and splash pad are surrounded by chairs and picnic tables for your family to use. The facilities include a locker room and restrooms for use.
Roy G. Holland Memorial Park
Dawn Denning: My kids love this playground! This is also a fun splash pad area in the summer with benches and shelters nearby allowing the entire family to enjoy a day at the park. If your kiddo wants to get wet, simply hit the orange button to get the water spraying! Next to the spray pad is the playground for kids of all sizes. While at the park, enjoy soccer fields, baseball fields, volleyball and basketball courts. If you want to have an event or birthday party, there is a building on premises to rent as well.
Forest Park Aquatic Center Splash Pad
Dawn Denning: Known for the diving boards, this water park also has a great splash pad for the smaller or less adventurous aqua lovers! There are numerous water features with plenty of space to accommodate a large group of kids. Next to the splash pad is a zero entry wading pool for small kids as well as a larger pool for the bigger kids. There is a waterslide and a climbing wall to keep the kids entertained. The park includes exclusive tot time open swim, playgrounds and a carousel to enjoy too!
Wes Montgomery Park Splash Pad
Kristy Pepping: This park gets its name from Jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery who launched his music career from Indianapolis, so it's no surprise that the splash pad is shaped like a guitar! The features include a shaded area, non-slip surface, picnic tables and several colorful spray features.
Lawrence W. Inlow Park
Dawn Denning: This is a great splash pad with multiple water structures allowing your kids to get wet quickly! Benches surround the splash area for you to sit closely to watch your children while avoiding getting wet yourself! Behind the splash pad, follow the hiking trails to discover hidden playground equipment nestled in the woods. There is a shelter nearby to escape from the sun along with public restrooms and a 9-hole disc golf course.
Dr. James A. Dillon Park
Dawn Denning: This is a spray park that all the kids can enjoy and is a local favorite. The huge space can accommodate a lot of children and when they are finished playing and getting wet, they can play on the playground nearby. Parents can take a break under shelters and use the restrooms onsite. Your kiddos can also enjoy the skate park and playing disc golf if they want to have a little more fun!
Christian Park
Tracy Snyder Molina: Colorful water features with a variety of spray patterns provide lots of fun at this spray park. The park also offers walking trails, picnic shelters, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, baseball diamonds, and a football field.
Brookside Park
Kristy Pepping: Brookside Park offers a large pool along with a great splash pad and a water slide. The park also offers a wooded backdrop for their outdoor sports amenities and a family center. Picnic shelters are available.
Clayton & LaSalle Park
Tracy Snyder Molina: The Clayton and LaSalle spray park features a concrete slab splash pad with colorful water features and varying spray patterns. Benches and picnic tables under a shaded pavilion are located nearby.
Westermeier Commons Playground & Splash pad
Beth Wood: One of my kids' favorite splash pads in the area is at Westermeier Commons Playground in Carmel. The splash pad features are beautifully designed and include brightly colored giant cattails, flowers and critters that spin and rotate while spraying water. It's a great place to cool off and have fun (as is Carmel's water park too)! The adjacent playground area is futuristic in design and offers towers to climb, slides, rock walls, tunnels and more to explore. You can also spend more time at the park exploring three miles of nature trails along woodlands, wetlands and prairies.
Monon Community Center Waterpark and Splash Pad
Dawn Denning: The splash pad at this local favorite waterpark is a fun place for kids, especially smaller ones. The splash pad features a small water slide and water features. It is next to a zero entry pool for kids under 48 inches tall. If your kiddo is too big, there are medium-sized and larger sized slides for them to enjoy. Older kids also enjoy the water slides and lazy river.
