The Shop @ Crazy Aaron's
At Crazy Aaron's flagship store, kids are welcome to get crafty with their vast supply of materials and create their own custom mini tin of thinking putty for free!
Paint a Treasure
Drop in anytime during normal walk-in studio hours at Paint-a-Treasure (or make a reservation online). There's canvas painting, pottery painting, wood signs, and there's even wine glass painting available for interested moms and dads. Small studio fee includes the use of art supplies, as well as unlimited studio time.
Busy Bees Pottery & Arts Studio
Busy Bees Pottery & Arts Studio offers a variety of family friendly drop-in arts & crafts activities at several locations in the Philadelphia area. There's clay painting, mosaics, paint-your-own pottery, board art (very cool!), clay hand building, and more. Check out their Kid's Camp options for those particularly artistic little ones!
The Mudroom Studio
At the Mudroom Studio in Ardmore, you and your family can create to your heart's content. The paint-your-own-pottery activity is the main attraction, but you can also create mosaics or take on a glass fusion project! The studio is well-stocked and bright which makes for the perfect environment to get creative!
Art Dept. Studios
Offering walk-in mosaics, paint your own pottery, sculpting with clay and fused glass, Art Dept. Studios is a great place to bring your child for a fun and creative art experience.
Color Me Mine
Color Me Mine has a stocked studio of pottery to choose from (e.g. coffee mugs, plates, boxes, figurines, etc). Simply walk in & pick a piece to paint. They'll fire it up & you'll have a lifelong keepsake ready to retrieve in a week.
Pinot's Palette
Drop in at one of Pinot's Palette's convenient area locations and paint till your heart's content during their Open Studio Hours on select days. Your family will choose what you want to paint and all materials are provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages, too.

All Fired Up
All Fired Up features Drop-In hours for art creation for the whole family with many choices such as Pottery, Canvas Painting, Glass Fusing and Board Art. They also offer Saturday Morning Paint & PJs for pottery painting with discounts to kids who wear pajamas.
Woodmere Art Museum
The Woodmere Art Museum features Drop-In Family Art and Storytelling programs monthly for parents and children. Families will read picture books in the galleries and then create a special art project to take home.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
The Philadelphia Museum of Art features Drop-In Family Arts programs with a wide range of themes such as holidays, nature, landscapes, still art and more for families take part in activities such as art creation, music and gallery walks. Your child will use different art tools and media such as paints, drawing, paper crafts and more to bring home their own unique themed art creation.
Philly Art Center
Philly Art Center offers a variety of art classes for kids that explore drawing, painting and mixed media. There are also drop-in art playgroups, and art and story time sessions with sensory stations and age-appropriate manipulative play.
Creative Clubhouse
The Creative Clubhouse is open to the public on select Friday afternoons for kids to enjoy painting, crafting, tactile and building opportunities. Children will use their creativity and activities will be geared toward their developmental age group.
