Made by Me
This Cambridge paint-your-own pottery store offers several pieces to paint. There are many choices including plates, mugs, cookie jars, flower pots, piggy banks and lots more. Made by Me provides all the paints, firing and glazing; so after your creation is done you just have to pick up the finished product in six days. Your finished piece will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. All materials used in the shop are nontoxic and safe for children.

Gather Here offers a unique series of classes called Kids Are Alright. These are sewing workshops for kids offered in a six-week, flexible-schedule series. In the first class, instructors will teach students how to use a sewing machine, read a pattern and cut fabric. In subsequent classes, students can make projects such as pajama pants, slippers, and a messenger bag. Each session is limited to a max of 4 students and runs for two hours. All materials, tools, and instruction will be provided.

The Play Dates program offers free admission for up to 2 adults with kids for a full day of activities—like hands-on art-making, performance, family gallery tours, films, and more.
Boston, MALook What I Made!
This art studio offers drop-in options for paint-your-own pottery and glass fusing. They have hundreds of pottery items to choose from including plates, mugs, vases, cookie jars and so much more. Glass fusing projects include a tile, sun catcher, candle holder, nightlight and vase among others. Both types of projects are fired in the kiln and can be picked up in a week. They also offer to-go pottery painting projects that can be done at home and brought back to be fired in the kiln; a great option for a fun play date or party!
