There are many firetrucks from the old days, photos, memorabilia of fire fighting equipment and more. The kids love the interactive sections where they can try on real fire fighter gear and boots, learn when it is appropriate to call 911 through interactive phones and computer generated quizzes, explore fire safety, see a fireman's pole and more. The gift shop also sells firefighting-themed kids books, puzzles, toys and more.

Experience the grounds for the extended hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be free art activities for the whole family to enjoy and design contests in the Glass and Pottery Studios. Step inside the Museum of American Glass for special exhibit tours, visit the Folklife Center for special programming, participate in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, hear live music, enjoy a bite to eat, and more.
