    Bluey

Alexandra F.:  My 5-year-old has told me I love Bluey even more than he does (and it’s his favorite show!), and he's not wrong - the whole family gets sucked in when this is on! It is so funny, and we get some great ideas for imaginative play from it.

    The Amazing Race

Shila:  Not only is this competition exciting to watch, but it is educational too. This is our can't-miss weekly family tv show!

    American Ninja Warrior

Athletes compete on an obstacle course challenge to win cash in this family friendly show.

    Nailed it!

Kelly R:  My 9 year old daughter LOVES this show and watched all of it. I never minded sitting down with her to join in. I love the host!

    WandaVision

Sue Krawitz Tandoc:  My tween boys and I enjoyed watching the Marvel Studios mini-series WandaVision. It is part super-hero, part comedy, part magic, part fantasy. It goes through the decades starting as a classic 1950s suburban sitcom with humor, science fiction and mystery!

    Just Add Magic

Alexandra F.:  We binge-watched this family show a few summers ago when our kids were 8 and 10, and have continued to follow and re-watch it ever since. Fun characters and a unique storyline made it enjoyable for all of us - and totally got my kids into cooking, too!

Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street

Alexandra F.:  If you’re not hooked by this sweet and quirky Amazon Original series after the first episode or two, keep watching - it’s worth it! It took us a few episodes to get into it but once we did it became a family favorite, and we parents truly looked forward to watching as much as our older kid and tween did. The characters were probably the best part of the show and I appreciated the positive yet realistic relationships it portrayed, particularly between the kids and their families - no need for parent antagonists here! The kids were regular kids going through regular life stuff, but with a unique fantastical spin that made the show truly fun to watch.

    Animaniacs

Shila:  Animaniacs is one of the best kids cartoon series that offers something for adults, too, as you'll appreciate the sharp and quick-witted writing and kids will laugh out loud at the bonkers behavior.

    Sugar Rush

Alexandra F.:  My tween and teen love this show, and when they put it on we all inevitably get sucked in. It's always so impressive to see the gorgeous cakes and confections the contestants come up with, and I like that it inspires the kids to bake for the family, too!

    Jeopardy

Sarah Calamita:  Even though my kids are young, they love watching this with us! There are some questions and answers that they retain, it generates questions and I love that they love a "learning show"!

    A Series of Unfortunate Events

Kelly R:  A delightfully dark, clever and funny Netflix family show based on the books - which my tween and I are also enjoying together!

    Once Upon a Time

Kids will recognize their favorite Disney movies and fairytales in this family tv show which puts a modern spin on everything.

    Boy Meets World

Belmersglue:  A classic 90s coming of age family sitcom that is fun at all ages. I remember loving this when I was young and after coming back to it as an adult it still hits some fun and meaningful lessons on growing up, making friends, and learning how to manage life’s ups and downs.

    Chopped

Yoli B:  This show has inspired many food challenges in our home and sometimes the combinations actually work...apple and banana tacos anyone?? MMMM...

    Phineas and Ferb

Erynn:  This is my all-time favorite kids' show that's fun for grownups too. Some of the jokes go over my 3- and 7-year-olds' heads, but mom enjoys!
