Family New Year’s Eve Events Around Indianapolis

Beth Wood said:  Ring in the new year at the Indiana State Museum's NYE celebration! There will be a science show, music, dancing, glittering tattoos, exploring the entire museum and more family fun! The balloon drop and confetti celebration will happen at 8 pm. This is an alcohol-free celebration for families of all ages. Registration recommended.

Enjoy a red carpet photo opp along with sweet treats and games, when you and your kids will be treated to a spectacular magic show. Of course, you will all countdown to Noon Year's Eve with a huge balloon drop at noon, sharp followed by a fun family dance party! Tickets are free, but RSVP online.

Along with being able to enjoy all of the exhibits at the Children's Museum, partygoers' will be treated to live music leading up to the two different countdowns (noon and 1pm) and plenty of fun activities for the whole family! Snacks and a light breakfast will be provided.

Admission at any of the three kid-friendly NYE celebrations at Skateland includes skate rental, a slice of cheese pizza, small drink, noise makers and party hats. Enjoy skating, great music, and a mock NYE countdown celebration! Please note that all children two and older must pay the participant fee whether or not they are skating.
