Family New Year’s Eve Events Around Columbus

Celebrate the new year by roller skating with the kids at United Skates of America! This local skating rink will have family friendly events on both New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Kids who love trains will especially enjoy ringing in the new year with Hocking Valley Scenic Railway! The New Year's Eve train will leave the Nelsonville Depot, travel to East Logan and return. By sitting in their family-friendly Pizza & Pop section, you will be served, you guessed it, pizza and pop! At midnight, the train will stop for all to enjoy a fireworks show.

Go bowling as a family and ring in the New Year at Bowlero Columbus! Their NYE family package includes two hours of unlimited bowling (shoes included) along with a kid-friendly meal. Multiple time slots available on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Reserve online.

 Ring in the new year with some fun family photos! The library will provide the festive costume pieces and glittery backdrop.

Celebrate the New Year bowling at Ten Pin Alley during their family-friendly New Year's Eve event. Enjoy bowling with the kids, plus arcade cards, discounted laser tag and more. They offer both daytime and evening reservation packages.

Roller skate your way into the new year at Skate Zone 71, where special family skates will be offered on New Years Eve and New Years Day.

If they have opened the tubing park for the season, Snow Trails will be open for glow tubing on New Year's Eve! They provide kiddie and adult single or double tubes.
