If Halloween is the holiday that your family lives for, then make this year like no other with an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge. In addition to all the regular amenities, like two days of fun at one of DFW's best indoor water parks, the lodge is hosting special Halloween events throughout October. Be sure to bring your costumes for the all-ages Monster Bash Dance Party, Howl-o-Ween Crafts, and the Trick-or-Treat Trail.

Festival goers can enjoy great food & drink, arts & crafts, and live music and dance, along with unique events like the Pine Box Races, Coffin Races, a Twilight Lantern Parade, a community altar and a “Flight of Souls,” the “Cirque du Horror Musical,” a Pumpkin Patch and Costume Contest, story telling and performances from Denton ISD schools.

When fall winds blow and Halloween draws near, this premier science museum and nature center stays open late so that families can trick-or-treat while surrounded by giant animatronic dinosaurs and other scientific curiosities. Halloween-themed activities wait around every corner and culminate with an outdoor, family-friendly movie in the amphitheater.

Lisa R said:  These three haunted attractions set on 50 acres are some of the best haunted houses you'll find in all of the US. Each attraction sticks to its own backstory and is packed with themed gags and tricks that will have you hyperventilating with both laughter and fear. The park is designed for adults and teens, but younger children are admitted at their parent's discretion. Emergency exits are located throughout all the houses in case anyone wants to cut the tour short.

For more than a month, costumed characters hide around every corner and rides are transformed into haunted houses and scare zones at this favorite Dallas amusement park. Kids will love this unique opportunity to trick or treat on a real vintage train! They can dress up in their Halloween costumes and get candy on the train. Your Trick ‘R Treat Train experience includes a prepackaged bag of treats, a Halloween storybook reading, and a fun interactive game.

It can be challenging enough to carve a pumpkin at home, but can you imagine carving one underwater?? The divers at SEA LIFE Aquarium will do just that and your family can get a front row seat!
