Come enjoy an egg treasure hunt, arts & crafts, dancing with the bunny and other activities.

4-6pm

At the Easter Egg Roundup at the Farm gives children the the chance to visit with farm animals, collect and color an egg from the coop, make an Easter craft, visit the Easter Bunny's Magical Forest, hunt for a colored egg, and meet the Bunny himself!

10am-2:30pm

Enjoy a hopping good time at this Bunny Hop event designed especially for children under 6 years old! Get ready for a day filled with fun games, bouncing excitement in the bounce house, a creative art craft project, an egg hunt to find sweet surprises, and don't forget to strike a pose and take a picture with the Bunny himself!

12-1pm

Make a whole morning of Easter celebrations at this event. The day will kick off with an Easter egg hunt (with 20,000 eggs to be found!!), followed by a parade, and capped off with some fun activities including spring crafts and photos with the Easter bunny!

10am

Bunny will scatter eggs filled with lots of goodies on the Tam Golf Course. Remember to bring a basket to collect your eggs. There will be complimentary refreshments for all to enjoy. The scramble will take place indoors in case of inclement weather. Pre-registration is required.

9:30 am

Little ones can enjoy a classic springtime egg hunt in the park. There will be an opportunity to meet and take photos with the Glen Ellyn bunny, Hopper Cottontail, and participate in spring-themed activities.

10 am & 11:30 am

Children will search for hidden eggs; parents must accompany them during the hunt. Children should bring a flashlight and basket to collect the eggs. Pre-registration is required.

7:40pm

Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast (for a fee), before or after the Annual Egg Hunt (free). Plus, have your photo taken with the bunny! Pre-registration required for breakfast, but not for the hunt.

Hunt for candy-filled eggs in the pool. Some eggs will contain a special ticket for a bonus prize. Special bags will be provided for each participant. Each age group will have 5 minutes to collect eggs in the leisure pool. When it is not your age group's turn, you are welcome to play in the lap pool. After the Egg Hunt, there will be 90 minutes of remaining time to play in both pools.

9-11 am

Meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and find fun for the whole family at the Easter Egg Hunt at Gallager Way.

11am - 2pm

Kids can enjoy racing around the grounds of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum for their egg hunt.

10am, 11am,12pm, 1pm

Grab your flashlight and basket and head for the woods! Go on the hunt for some eggs then enjoy a spring craft. A non-paying adult must accompany child. 

7:30-8:30 pm

Lake Forest residents (only) can enjoy family fun and entertainment at the annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza. The Easter Bunny will be laying out over 6,000 eggs! Perhaps you will be lucky enough to find a golden egg.

9am

Homewood-Flossmoor residents (only) can enjoy hunting for eggs at the Lucky Egg Hunt, including a few lucky eggs that will give you an extra prize. The bunny will be available for photos after the hunt.

10am

14,000 eggs will be “hidden” among the 4 ball fields at Frontier Park Sports Complex, where kids up to 8 years old are invited to join the hunt with other kids their age! Special prizes are available, as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny! No reservations required, but note that parking is limited so it's a good idea to come early. Also, they will be accepting food donations for DuPage Pads at the event.

9 am

The “Bunny Wabbit Run” is a 5k (one hop), a 10k (two hops), a half marathon, and a 200m Kids Dash with the silly Wabbit and an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 8 and under!

8 am

Grab your Easter basket and head over to the Pottawatomie Park for the St. Charles Park District annual egg hunt for some holiday fun! BYOB - bring your own basket! Please limit your child to 10 eggs.

10am

Enjoy this Bunny Holiday time egg hunt in the pool. The event will include a bounce house, pictures with the bunny, egg relays, an egg hunt in the pool, face paint, a craft, and a drawing for baskets. All participants who want to swim in the deep end must do a swim test. Please wear a swimsuit under your clothes

5-6 pm, 5:30-6:30 pm

Enjoy a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook! Get ready to hop around and search for eggs hidden throughout the grounds (weather permitting). Keep your eyes peeled for the golden eggs—each one holds a special surprise, a family day resort pool pass for endless fun and relaxation! Bring your family and friends for a day of excitement and laughter, and don't forget to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!

The egg hunt is an open house event — come whenever you wish, and bring your own basket or bag to collect eggs that will be scattered around the grounds throughout the day and replenished periodically. Each child can redeem up to five eggs for a prize.

10am-4pm

Join in the fun at this not-so-traditional egg hunt! Pick up your goodie bag at 10am in Northcenter Town Square and look for hidden prizes at participant shops. Round out the festivities with a visit from the Easter bunny and more fun activities!

The Park District of Highland Park hosts a sensory-friendly egg hunt, along with separate hunts for toddlers and older kids.

9:30-10:45 am

Come hunt for eggs at Arlington Ridge Center! Plastic eggs are filled with surprises and float in the pool. Children get to collect the eggs and take them home. Bags are provided.

1-4 pm

Head to the Oak View Center for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, which includes an age-segmented search for eggs, a craft project to take home and a visit with the Easter Bunny.

Head out to Freedom Park for Tinley Park Park District's Easter Egg Hunt! Be ready to visit with their special guest - the Easter Bunny! This event goes on rain or shine. Pre-registration required.

This is the ultimate Easter event for Itasca families! The Easter Bunny will be out and about hiding special treats for youngsters to find. If you are lucky, you’ll find a ticket inside an egg that is redeemable for a grand prize! Kids will also have the opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget to bring baskets and your camera to capture the fun.

Dash on over to Franzen Grove to join the Easter Bunny for a morning of donuts, an egg hunt, and a photo opportunity. Egg hunts will be divided into age groups. Pre-registration is required for this event.

10-11 am

Get ready for the ultimate spring evening packed with fun, friends, and games! Team up (or compete solo) in fast-paced Minute-to-Win-It challenges and epic games that will have you laughing and cheering. When the sun goes down, join the flashlight egg hunt. Search for glowing eggs and uncover surprises, including a chance to find the hidden Easter Bunny! Music, snacks, and fantastic prizes will be waiting for you at every turn.

6-8 pm

Get ready for an egg-citing adventure that’s fun for the whole family! This is an egg hunt event for two different age groups (0-2 years and 3-9 years). It’s double the fun, double the eggs, and double the excitement! Pre-registration required

10am

Grab your flashlight and hunt for prize-filled eggs under the stars! Please bring a flashlight and a bag or basket to put your eggs and prizes in. This event is held outside; please dress appropriately. Parents must be present with their children, but may not assist them during the hunt. Preregistration required.

7:45 pm, 8:40 pm

Check-in for your goodie bag before hunting for eggs under the moonlight at Tam O'Shanter. Bring your flashlight and basket to collect your eggs and goodies. The event will end once the hunt is over. Parents must accompany child/children on the course for the hunt. All ages will hunt together. Pre-registration required.

8:15pm & 8:45pm

Easter Breakfast with the Bunny is an annual Park District tradition that you and your child won’t want to miss. A delicious, catered breakfast is served while the Bunny’s helpers are busy hiding eggs. Immediately following the breakfast, they will have their annual egg hunt outside. Remember to bring your basket! 

9-10:30 am

Get ready, get set, and GO for this annual Egg Hunt. The Bunny plans to hide surprises in designated areas. Each group will go into their area to hunt for their eggs.

12pm

Enjoy games, crafts, and activities perfect for the whole family—and keep an eye out for a special visit from the bunny himself! Don’t miss this egg-stra special night of festive fun at Cosley Zoo. Children ages 2-12 will receive eggs and other goodies throughout the event. Pre-registration is required.

5-6:30pm

Start your day celebrating Spring at the Carousel and Jumps n’ Jiggles. Enjoy breakfast snacks, crafts, story reading, carousel rides, and photo opportunities. The Easter Bunny will make a short appearance during the event. While adult supervision is required, there is no fee for adults. To be mindful of room capacity, they invite two adults per family to attend.

9-11am

Bring your basket and enjoy this fun, festive annual tradition! The Easter Bunny will be hoppin’ by for photos! Pre-registration required.

9:30am

Join Peter Cottontail for some crafts, holiday games, donuts, an egg hunt, and a special photo opportunity with the Bunny! Remember to bring your cameras and your Easter baskets.

10am, 10:45am & 11:30am

Your kids will love the Aquatic Egg Hunt at the Family Aquatic Center! Each registration is for a 90-minute experience that begins with the egg hunts and ends with open swim for the entire family. Children will search for eggs that can be exchanged for prize packages. The hunt will be looking for the "special" eggs with prize slips redeemable for larger prizes! Children will be divided into age groups and placed according to the appropriate swimming areas.

Come out to Centennial Park to enjoy this annual tradition! If you find a "lucky egg," you win a special prize!

Enjoy Pancakes with Peter Rabbit followed by the Egg-Apalooza Egg Hunt.

Hop on over to the baseball fields at Berens Park for the annual egg hunt! Join in a mad dash to collect prize-filled eggs and meet with the Easter Bunny. Adults must accompany children and don’t forget to bring your basket! Pre-registration required.

Hippity Hop on over to Mount Prospect's annual Easter Egg Hunt! Bunny photo opportunities are available after each hunt. Enjoy a delicious take home treat. Pre-registration is required.

Bring a basket and get ready to hunt for eggs filled with prizes and candy in this traditional event. Families will be divided into designated age group areas, and special 'golden egg' prizes will be hidden in each section. Be sure to get to the park early and have your baskets (and cameras) ready for a hoppin' good time.

This ticketed Easter event at Lincoln Park Zoo includes multiple Easter egg hunts for different age groups, pictures with the Easter bunny, free rides on the carousel and the Lionel Train Adventure, as well as games, music and outdoor activities.

7:45-11:45am

Bring the whole family to this free event at Oakton Park. The egg hunt will be divided into three sections based on age.

10am

Hop on down to Community Park and take a family walk to collect an assortment of treat-filled eggs from local business vendors. Stop by the photo backdrop to capture a special photo with their spring bunny. Other fun activities will include a petting zoo, bubbles, games, and a bounce house. Pre-registration required.

10am-12pm

Hop on over for a fun-filled egg hunt and pictures with the Bunny! Once the egg hunt is complete, families can take a photo and visit with the Bunny in the outdoor tent (be sure to bring your camera)! Each child will receive a special treat to take home. Pre-registration required.

10am-3:30pm (time slots)

Swimmers are welcome to use the pool for open swim, make a craft, and have a snack. There will also be 2 separate egg hunts during this time, one for little kids in water from 2’ to 3’6” deep, and one for bigger kids in water from 3’6” to 5’ deep.

2-3:50pm

Bring a flashlight, headlamp, or cell phone light to hunt in the dark around Community Park! You will meet at the Community Park Bandshell and walk as a group across the street to the Community Park Tree Grove where the eggs are hidden.
