Woodridge Tree Farm
Katie G.: Located in Utica, about an hour outside of Columbus, Woodridge Tree Farm is a family-owned and operated tree farm with over 25 years of experience. The tree farm offers a large selection spruce, pine, hemlock and fir trees. Visitors are welcome to use a cart and saw provided at the farm to cut their own. Tree-shaking, baling and twine are available to help transport your tree home. Kids can visit Santa on select weekend days during the season.
Katie G.: Enjoy a fun afternoon at one of the oldest Christmas tree farms in Central Ohio. There are thousands of trees to choose from and guests are welcome to choose any tree with a price tag that is ready for harvest. Be sure to visit the Timbuk Lodge after selecting the perfect tree. Enjoy a glass of hot chocolate from the snack shop, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at select times on weekends, shop for holiday decor in the gift shop or relax by the fire.
Black Forest Pines
Katie G.: Black Forest Pines farm offers a large selection of trees including, u-pick, pre-cut, balled and burlap. If you choose to head out into the field to cut-your-own, grab a hand saw and sled.
Saum Family Farm
Katie G.: The Christmas tree farm offers pre-cut and cut-your-own trees, visits with Santa and free hot chocolate and holiday cookies. There are several varieties of trees to choose from at Saum Family Farm. Visit the gift shop for wreaths, grave blankets, pine roping and more. Cash or check only.
Country Cabin Tree Farm
Katie G.: Take a trip to the country and start your family tradition at Country Cabin Tree Farm. Offering cut-your-own trees and pre-cut trees, there is plenty to choose from. The farm provides saws, tree shaking, tree drilling and tree bags to get your tree home. Kids can enjoy a candy cane, hot chocolate or cider in the warm, cozy cabin. Visit the gift shop for fresh wreaths, tree stands, and more.
Taylor Tree Farm
Katie G.: Driving through the country in Sunbury, you can't miss the Taylor Tree Farm. Look for the big, red caboose and the field of cut-your-own Christmas trees. Before heading out into the field for a memorable family experience, grab a saw to cut the perfect tree and a sled to bring it back. The staff will provide tree baling, making it easier to get back home. Afterwards, warm up in the big, red caboose and snap some holiday photos.
Fly A Way Farm
Katie G.: Located in North Columbus, near Alum Creek State Park, Fly A Way Farm opens one weekend a season for you-cut trees. Upon entering the farm, you will be greeted by an employee who will provide you with a saw and parking directions. After selecting the perfect tree, enjoy a hayride around the farm, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. In addition to live trees, they sell roping and tree stands to complete your Christmas decor. Cash or check only.
Katie G.: Cackler Farms offers a large selection and wide variety of trees, wreaths and greenery. Be sure to check out the on-site food truck and the awesome photo wreath for grabbing some fun family photos! Reservations are required for visiting the farm.
