Wooden Growth Chart Ruler
Katie G. said: Add a giant ruler to the wall of your playroom and watch them grow. Moms and dads can mark the growth of their child on the ruler and kids will have fun measuring up to the ruler to see how much they've grown.

UTEX 2 in 1 Kids Construction Play Table
Shila said: This Lego storage table offers under-the-table pull out drawers to store anything you wish, including hundreds of Lego pieces. The top of the table is an extra large Lego baseplate to build upon. If you turn that baseplate over, the tabletop itself can be made to use as a regular table!
To me, under-the-table storage drawers are key to a good Lego table. Notice that other Lego tables offer storage under the tabletop itself, but that poses an inconvenient issue for kids having to uplift everything they're building in order to gain trunk-like access to more pieces.
ACEssentials Kids Activity Stools
Kelly R said: These metal stools are incredibly durable and versatile, and a lot more attractive than most toddler chair options. Kids can carry them around to use at craft or coffee tables, or even use them as a playing surface. My set gets heavy use even as my kids are growing. Choose from a variety of nice colors to match your home's decor.
Crate&kids Top Box Storage
Kelly R said: These colorful storage boxes from Crate&kids come in a variety of sizes and fit well in popular cube shelving systems. They have held up really well over the years for my family. They're clear so that kids can easily view the contents, stack together nicely, and have lids that rest on top instead of snapping, so even younger toddlers can easily open and close them.
Mini Basketball Hoop
Kristy Pepping said: No time to head to the park for a game of basketball? You can play right indoors in your playroom with this smaller-scale basketball net that goes over a door.
Elfa Kids' Mesh Coloring Table
Kelly R said: I love choosing items that will grow with my kids, and this coloring table from Elfa will see us through many years. Composed of a large and sturdy desktop with ample drawer storage, you can feed a paper roll across the top for drawing. We use ours as the central table in our playroom, so it also acts as a play surface. The table can be reconfigured into a full size desk (with the purchase of additional components) once your child is ready to move on.
Tumbl Trak Tumbling Mat
Alexandra F. said: I can't speak highly enough of these tumbling mats, which have gotten many years of rough and tumble use at our house (including being stored in a covered outdoor area), and are still in excellent shape. They are pricey, but if your kids love to do gymnastics or tumbling of any kind, they can be an excellent investment. We got them years ago when our elementary schoolers were doing gymnastics, but our toddler and preschooler still use them daily for their random climbing and jumping games. We also got a Tumbl Trak cheese mat, which we love.
