Joining the exciting “Black History [every] Month” 2025 line up is Vasthy Mompoint’s fabulous interactive afternoon of fun for the whole family! "Sesame Street" meets Broadway...Mr. Rogers meets musical theater...music, dance, poetry, and fun for the whole family (including grown ups!)

Your hostess, eight-time Broadway actress (The Prom, Spongebob, Mary Poppins), Vasthy Mompoint, will take you on a musical theater adventure combining live performance with virtual production for kids to engage with the arts in a way like no other. Get ready to sing, dance, and play. Vasthy says, “We promise you will leave with a smile on your face.” Admission includes great goody bags for the kids! Do something with, not just for, your kids!

Celebrate Bob Baker’s 100th Birthday and BBMT’s 60th Anniversary at LA State Historic Park on April 21st. For this year’s Bob Baker Day, we’re thrilled to announce our Grand Marshal: Sid Krofft, the Grandfather of Puppetry! Sid will kick-off the festivities with a whole host of special guests! RSVP is required! If you are able, a suggested donation of $20 helps support this annual event remaining accessible, safe, and fun for all!

Blippi will be joined onstage by Meekah, along with their singing and dancing buddies and LIVE musicians, in this new tour! They’ll explore what makes music, including sounds, rhythms and instruments, with fan-favorite Blippi hits. So grab your drumsticks, tune up your guitar, and move those feet with Blippi and get ready for a musical performance that's fun for the whole family!

Inspired by L. Frank Baum’s original stories, this clever adaptation puts the audience front and center by allowing children in the audience to take on key roles, including Munchkins, Winkies, and even Dorothy. If you are in the room, you are in the show!

Complete with perky elves, zany inventors, toy soldiers and porcelain dolls, audiences boo the villain, cheer the heroine, and help save the day in this delightful holiday event, perfect for the whole family! For the closing day performance at 5:30 on Sunday, December 15, surprise treat bags for the kids and cider, cookies and candy canes for everyone are included in price of admission!
