2025 Boston Summer Camps (Gathering Reviews)

Situated on the campus of Concord Academy, this summer camp strives to help campers to be their best selves through community, character, friendship and healthy risk-taking. Typical activities include canoeing on the Sudbury River, music, performing arts, woodshop, team building, sports, swimming and lunch in their air-conditioned dining hall.

At Summer Fenn, campers will engage in core activities of swim instruction, arts & crafts, adventure/challenge course, sports/games, and nature/science. Each camper will also have choice blocks, called electives, in which they can choose from a wide range of fun activities like scavenger hunts, LEGO creations, duct tape art, juggling and speed stacking!

The Hive Summer Camp aims to connect kids to art, ideas and nature. Campers are encouraged to be creative and innovative. This is an interdisciplinary experience for kids, and they will enjoy both indoor and outdoor time during the week.

Confidence Connection offers a summer program tailored to meet the developmental, social, and behavioral needs of children with Autism. The program features music therapy, speech therapy, APE/KidFit, yoga, cooking classes, and team-building groups to work on communication and group skills. Each child is assessed to determine appropriate goals and objectives.

Campers at Nobles Day Camp develop and practice life skills through engaging activities that build independence and self-confidence in a non-competitive atmosphere. Each session offers a choice in age-appropriate activities including gymnastics, swimming, arts & crafts, boating, photography, cooking, field sports and woodworking.

A typical day of Babson Sports Camp is a sports enthusiast's dream. Scrimmages stretches, drills and skills competitions are just some of the activities campers will take on each day. Lunch (cost included) and open swim round out the day's activities. Babson offers camps for basketball, volleyball, ice and field hockey and more.

Beaver Summer Camp offers fun creative programs in a safe and nurturing environment where kids can just be kids. Each day includes instructional swim as well as a choice in activities such as field and gym sports, martial arts, ceramics, dance, photography, indoor climbing wall, challenge courses and much more. The number of choices available in each time period increases with camper's age.

Einstein's Workshop runs a variety of summer camps to keep your budding engineers and coders busy. Courses are run by grade level. Full day campers register for a morning and an afternoon class for each week they attend.

Situated on the campus of BB&N, this day camp offers traditional camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, painting, sports, dance, tennis, and archery. Theme days and special fun Fridays provide extra fun and older campers can also enjoy weekly excursions in and around Boston.

Boston University offers several classes geared toward children throughout the year. In the summer, they offer Camp Terrier which specializes in various sports, art, sailing, dance, and outdoor adventures.

Two popular Boston area zoos, the Franklin Park Zoo and the Stone Zoo, offer summer ZooCamp and Junior Zookeeping. ZooCamp features live animal encounters as well as animal, science and conservation-based games and activities. Junior Zookeepers offers hands-on experience as well as the opportunity to shadow zookeepers.

Every summer Cambridge Montessori School opens its doors to everyone with their Passport Summer Camp. Campers will enjoy field trips, be entertained by special visitors and engage in many fun activities including sports & games, visual and performing arts, nature exploration, science, music & movement, swimming and more.

At the Central Square Theater's Summer Stage Camp, young performers can study script analysis, learn ensemble building, set design and more! Instructors are Underground Railway Theater teaching artists and Central Square Theater professionals.

Climbing only and climbing & parkour weeks are offered in the summer camp program at this Boston-area rock climbing gym for kids and adults.
