There also is a Candlelight Yoga class for preteens and teens. The Adaptive Kids Yoga classes for kids with disabilities modifies a traditional kids yoga class and incorporates games and music in an inclusive environment.

Kids classes run for 60 minutes; teens for 75 minutes. All classes held at Laughing Dog Yoga Studio. Private lessons, which may be held at Chryssicas' home studio, the Laughing Dog or the student's home are available as well.

The classes incorporate age-appropriate activities, including music for the little ones, games for older kids and open discussion for the teens. Sessions run for 11 weeks. Down Under offers new kid clients a three-class trial for $45.

Coolidge Corner Yoga

Breathe and Play Every Day
Amanda Banta: Breathe and Play Every Day has a variety of class offerings for your children to learn yoga. Kids can pop in for a single class or enroll for a full session, which generally run eight to nine weeks long. Classes are grouped by age ranges, allowing your child to be in class with others of similar ages. There are classes specifically for teens and tweens, as well, giving the older kids a place to exercise and build their confidence alongside peers. Breathe and Play members can attend classes for no additional cost.

South Shore Conservatory
