    Best Water Bottle for Preschool

Vanessa M.:  I purchased these for my kids when they started school and they have been great and are still in use years later! I've put ice water in their bottles in the morning and literally heard the ice still clinking inside at the end of the day. The 12 ounce size is perfect for school lunches or trips in the car.

    Best Affordable Water Bottles

Erynn:  These stainless steel water bottles for kids are vacuum-sealed and insulated, so not only are they leakproof, they also keep drinks cold. Sizes range from small to huge, and there are tons of fun color options to let kids customize their bottle.

Best Straw Bottle for Big Kids

Kelly R:  We loved these leakproof water bottles for kids so much when we bought them for back to school last year that we ended up buying them for the whole family. The spout is genius: you can drink from it upright like a super-comfortable straw, or tip the bottle back to chug. The lid and straw don't have any nooks and crannies to hold scary gunk, and get totally clean in the dishwasher. The 24oz size is plenty big for school or sports, but still fits in our minivan cupholders. My only complaint is that I wish the bottle was more durable. I made sure to add on a bottle boot when I had to replace my son's demolished bottle this year.

    CamelBak Eddy+ Kids Water Bottle

Vanessa M.:  CamelBak utilizes their patented bite-to-sip straw valve, making spills a thing of the past. It is easy for kids to use, and kids adore the fun colors and designs. Made of high-quality Tritan plastic that is taste free, BPA/BPS and BPF free.

    Hydracy Fruit Infuser Water Bottle

Best Water Bottle for Summer Camp

Kristy Pepping:  We use this Hydracy water bottle in the summertime. My daughters take golf and it can get hot on the course! They are good water drinkers, but sometimes they get bored with just water. We ended up buying two of these water bottles that have a center cone that can be filled with the fruit of your choice. We have used lemons, limes, raspberries and watermelon. All of these fruit options worked well and tasted great!

    Gatorade Squeeze Bottle

    Best Water Bottle for Sports

Vanessa M.:  Gatorade's 32 ounce squeeze bottle is the "in" water bottle among the upper elementary and middle school age kids in our area. Finally, something parents and kids can agree on! As a mom, I like these water bottles because of their large size, I like that they are BPA free, and I've found the built-in one way valve makes it practically leakproof. Kids find that these are great for sports, summer camp, or for keeping at school.

    Klean Kanteen Kid Classic

Vanessa M.:  These stainless steel water bottles for kids have a 12 ounce size that is perfect for smaller hands to hold. The bottle can accommodate sport, sippy or traditional caps, so you can adjust as your needs change.

    Contigo Autoseal Water Bottle

Sunshine Girl:  The search for the perfect water bottle is over! Finally we found a lightweight, stainless steel water bottle that keeps drinks cold all day. It also has a sturdy flip top, leak proof spout. Perfect for older kids who need more volume to drink. It’s slim, fits nicely in your hands and side backpack pockets. It’s also reasonably priced for stainless steel products. We’re going on year 3 with lots of life still in it.

Hydro Flask Kids Wide Mouth Straw Bottle

Best Stainless Steel Bottle for Kids

Alexandra F.:  Everyone in our family has their own Hydro Flask stainless steel water bottle, and the various size and lid options (not to mention colors!) means we all have just the right one to fit our preferences. I love how these bottles keep our water cold for hours and hours, and always tasting fresh even when we’ve forgotten about them for a day or more. The 12 oz water bottle for kids is a little heavier than others we've tried, but my 1-year-old had no trouble carrying his around when we first got it for him. Some of our bottles are more than five years old at this point, and still going strong!

Thinksport Insulated Stainless Steel Sports Bottle

Dawn Denning:  These Thinksport insulated water bottles are a big hit with my big boys. Because my boys don’t keep them upright on the side of the football field, leakproof is a requirement for us. These stainless steel water bottles for kids fit all our needs and keep the water cold in the late summer heat.

    Lifefactory Glass Water Bottle

Best Glass Bottle for Big Kids

Kristy Pepping:  We have several of these Lifefactory water bottles and in fact, I use one for working out as well. They are made of glass so I would not recommend them for smaller children. My kids who are tweens use them for dance and gymnastics class. They have also taken them to school and are able to clip these water bottles to their backpacks since they have handles.

    YETI Rambler Jr. Kids Bottle

Sarah Calamita:  Leak proof, dishwasher safe and keeps your kids water cold all day long!

Nalgene On The Fly Kids Water Bottle

Vanessa M.:  The Nalgene On the Fly is a leakproof water bottle for kids that is perfect for lunch boxes, outings, and school desks. The lid covers a high flow drinking spout that is easy for little hands to refill at the water fountain or sink. One handed push button makes it easy to open and close, while the locking bail ensures a leak-proof seal. It comes in fun colors and designs, too.

    Reduce 2.0 Tumbler with Handle

Mommyx3 (Monique H):  Great for teens (and adults) but I know my little ones absolutely love this tumbler. It offers 3 different ways to enjoy your drink- with a straw, a little sip opening, or what is considered a big gulp. It's also great with keeping ice or any refreshment nice and cold for long periods of time. Cool sizes, colors, and designs as well.
