This arena has it all! The Skating Academy program employs the most accomplished skating coaches anywhere; all are accredited by U.S. Figure Skating. Their goal is to offer top-quality instruction for all learning to skate in a fun and supportive environment. Enjoy an afternoon of skating during their public skating times any time of year!
Veterans Memorial Skating Rink - Waltham
Carly Follett: Veterans Memorial Skating Rink in Waltham offers hockey, figure skating and recreational skating for all levels and ages. The learn-to-skate programs are taught through the Bay State Skating School. They provide a comprehensive ice skating program. Veterans Memorial Skating Rink also offers public skate times and public hockey times. Renting the ice for skating, hockey or a special event is possible with an associated fee.
Jim Roche Community Arena

Bajko Memorial Rink
Carly Follett: Whether you're just learning the ice skating ropes or looking to join an instructional hockey league, Bajko Memorial Rink is the place for you. You can also find a quick pick-up hockey game at Bajko too! Give them a call to inquire about their leagues. In addition to hockey, you can take advantage of public skating! But don't forget your skates because this rink does not offer skate rentals.
Daly Rink
Carly Follett: Daly Rink offers 12 hours of public skating weekly. They provide the best skating conditions during public skating because the ice is resurfaced every hour on the hour. Daly Rink has rental skates in kids size 8 through adult size 13. Need your skates sharpened? Daly does that as well; sharpening with the Maximum Edge skate finishing system. Warrior Ice Arena
Carly Follett: Come feel like a pro at the Warrior Ice Arena. This is the Boston Bruins new training and practice facility that’s also available to the public. The 200’ x 85’ arena complex hosts college, high school, youth and amateur level hockey. Ed Burns Arena & Ice Skating Rink
Carly Follett: The Ed Burns Arena & Skating Rink is a newly renovated indoor ice facility. They also have a snack bar service and vending machines available in the main lobby. Plus, skate rental and sharpening services. The Ed Burns Area offers youth hockey, skating lessons, public skating and stick and puck practice. The rink is also a great place to host a birthday party or school field trip.
Walter Brown Arena
Carly Follett: Walter Brown Arena is the home of Boston University's club ice hockey. This rink also offers open skating to students, FitRec members and the general community during academic year semesters. Skating packages for public skating are available for purchase. The Walter Brown Arena offers skating lessons through the FitRec program during the academic year to children and adults. Reservations for private ice time can be scheduled by contacting the Arena directly.
Shea Memorial Skating Rink

LoConte Memorial Rink
Carly Follett: LoConte Memorial Rink is a large indoor skating rink open for both public and private ice skating. They also have a pro shop located inside that sells a complete line of hockey skates, figure skates, skate blades, skate clothes and skate sharpening. Several skating programs are available for beginners to advanced in all types of ice skating and ice hockey. The ice rink is available for rental year round and is the most popular rink in the area for local hockey teams and tournaments.
Emmons Horrigan O'Neill Memorial Rink
