Whether it's a rainy day, cold outside or you're just looking for something fun to keep your children entertained, these paint your own pottery and other art places offer hours of indoor fun. Plus, several of these studios offer birthday parties and Scout outings.
Michaels - Kid's Club
Kristy Pepping: Michaels is a craft store, but they also offer drop in arts classes for kids on Saturdays. Go to the location closest to you around town. Kids can choose from two small art projects that will take about 30 minutes each.
Color Me Mine
Kristy Pepping: Color Me Mine is a paint it yourself ceramics studio. Pick your piece, paint it, and Color Me Mine will fire your creation and have it ready for pick up. All paints are non-toxic, water-based and come out of clothing easily. They also offer lots of kid friendly activities like birthday parties and kids night out.

Pottery is any age, glass art is 8 years+, wood projects are 10 years+
