The HCC offers a program on the first Saturday of every month called Hands-On Houston, for adults and kids of all ages. This free, craft-making class is led by a local artist or guild. You'll learn how to make a craft that is related to the current exhibitions!

 McCord Park in Little Elm features some of the best playgrounds with truly one-of-a-kind equipment. It has a giant spherical jungle gym to climb on, and a basket-shaped hammock swing your kids can lie down in. In addition, it has single, double and triple slides for both younger and older children, as well as baby swings for your littlest tots. Instead of typical wood chips, the playground has a hard rubber surface for kids to run around on!

This space-themed playground in Allen has rocketship structures kids can climb up to slide down one of five slides, as well as small planes younger tots can ride in closer to the ground.

Arbor Hills has two separate play areas, one of which is more appropriate for smaller children ages 2-5. This is clearly marked, and both have safety features like guardrails and a design that makes it difficult to climb where not designated, putting your mind at ease while your kids play! Both playgrounds have shaded areas and share a covered pavilion with picnic tables, perfect for a snack and water break. Kids will also love the wide open spaces the playgrounds are surrounded by to play games like tag or frisbee!

Cole Park's playground has swings for babies and big kids, plus a toddler sized playground and a playground structure for older kids. This park has been around since 1923, and has plenty of wide open space and a basketball hoop as well.

Visit Vitruvian Park in Addison every other Thursday night this summer for live music and food trucks!

This highly anticipated concert series will once again grace the springtime calendar. Nestled amidst the scenic backdrop of Southlake Town Square, the concerts will take place outdoors at the Rustin Pavilion. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. Food vendors will be on-site.

The Levitt Pavilion presents many free, family-friendly outdoor concerts featuring different styles of music, from country to rock to jazz. These concerts have open lawn seating, so bring your own blanket, chairs, and coolers.
